Fundamental Law 2,885 Posted May 26, 2017 We had been corresponding, exchanging pictures, and had a planned "first date" 48 hours later (meanIng tonight). Then arrives the following message: "OK, time for me to be shallow. I have enjoyed our mail, your wife bears such an uncanny resemblance to my wife's mother, that she has declined to meet. Best of luck." Really? This just surfaced? Like, had you mentioned the month of correspondence and photos to your spouse as you said you had? Sheesh. What's your best flake story? 4 Quote Share this post Link to post

kikonkrome 844 Posted May 26, 2017 A woman of a couple fled from me at a house party. Her partner said I looked like her ex-husband. I kinda respect that though. Any woman that reminds me of my ex is an instant no go and it's happened. Our latest flake and we knew it was going to be one... She failed her math exam and needs to spend all the time she can study for the next one two months away. Errr ok, good luck with that. 3 Quote Share this post Link to post
SexyRedmondCpl 128 Posted May 27, 2017 Years ago, we had a date set with a lovely young woman who we were going to take to dinner, then the club for some fun. The day before, she sent us a message that she had suddenly fallen in love with a blind date she'd met the night before. We figured she was just being flaky, but it's a hazard of the lifestyle so why let it ruin our fun. When we arrived at the restaurant that next night, she'd called ahead and had a bottle of champagne waiting with an apology for not being able to join us. Never did hear from her after that. We both hope she's happy and doing well, though. 7 Quote Share this post Link to post

GoldCoCouple 4,066 Posted May 30, 2017 Like, had you mentioned the month of correspondence and photos to your spouse as you said you had? This is why we always say don't waste time about meeting for the first time. If it looks like a possible connection, then schedule a meeting for dinner or drinks (only). You will find out more in the first 5 minutes than you ever will via texting or email. On the other hand, at least they said something and didn't just not show up. Better luck with your next meeting. 5 Quote Share this post Link to post
SJBluebirds 195 Posted May 31, 2017 We got the 'You look just like her brother. That's a deal-breaker.' e-mail. Oh, yeah? Well, I should have said "Actually, I look like your mother!" Only I didn't think of that classy retort until months later. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post

Guest Posted June 25, 2017 We'd been corresponding with an attractive single woman, who seemed very eager to meet. The day of the meeting (a Monday), she texts about 2 hours beforehand to say that the sermon her Pastor preached the day before told her that she needed to not be so self-centered and put the brakes on things in her life, so she was not going to make our meeting after all. SJBluebirds 195 Posted May 29, 2018 About a week ago, we got turned-down for an initial meet-up because our Politics were too different (a summary -- 'words to that effect'). Odd, we thought, as they seem interesting, otherwise -- but we thought that was kind of a flaky reason not to meet. Quote Share this post Link to post
PeterJ 951 Posted May 29, 2018 About a week ago, we got turned-down for an initial meet-up because our Politics were too different (a summary -- 'words to that effect'). Odd, we thought, as they seem interesting, otherwise -- but we thought that was kind of a flaky reason not to meet. I might find it hard to maintain a lifestyle friendship that included significant social time along with sexual play with someone whose political and social views I found repugnant. But in a relationship that was confined to sexual activities, even an ongoing one, politics aren’t why we are in bed together. Some years ago I initiated a friendship with a couple who were a decade older than I. Although they were quite experienced in the lifestyle, the three of us never quite made it into bed. It turned out they were really looking for a male for at least a semi-poly relationship. The three of us pretty much shared the same political outlook, but she was really vociferous about sex and politics. With real energy in her voice she once said to me “I would never fuck a (member of the other major political party)!” It seemed a little extreme to me. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
padoc 1,703 Posted May 29, 2018 A couple of summers ago we had multiple email contacts with a couple that we eventually agreed to meet at Trapeze. When we met, her b/f was immediately enamored with Mrs Doc the woman however gave me an occasional odd look. A couple of hours later Mrs Doc and I headed back to the play room with the couple trailing us. Once in the back, the woman pulled me aside and said something to the effect that they really liked both of us but I bore an uncanny resemblance to her 1st cousin and since they were quite close, she'd feel "weird" boinking me. What the hell can you do? I kissed her on the forehead like a cousin would and we four went in separate directions that night. Oddly enough, over the next 3 months or so, we saw them at the club a couple of times, I said "hi cousin" and we all chatted a bit and it was fine till one night we ran into them at the bar in the play area, all of us in towels. She said, "there's my cousin" and reached up to put her arms around my neck. Her towel fell off, she planted her naked self against me and gave me a kiss that curled my toes. The four of us found a private room and were getting pretty hot together. When I asked her about the cousin thing she said just before taking my dick in her mouth, "I got over it". Damned if I understand!! 5 Quote Share this post Link to post
