njbm 2,868 Posted May 28, 2017 Have had it happen twice. Pretty awkward at first, then funny and a bonding experience. Played with one couple, not the other. Hey, they are there too. Also, other couples usually will not spread the word that you are Swingers because they don't want to be outed. We call it mutually assured destruction. 2 Quote Share this post Link to post
Dont.Stop 339 Posted May 28, 2017 Yep, we say hi. Pretending you don't know each other is silly. It's not like you have to tell everyone "We slept together last month!" It's amazingly much ado about nothing. 2 Quote Share this post Link to post
Guest Posted May 30, 2017 The fact of the matter is they will be running into somebody they know as well, you. After all, we’re all there for pretty much the same reason. It’s happened to us. When we got close enough that eye contact was inevitable, we said hello, they said hello, and at the PTA meeting, we were a bit more friendly to one another. Quote Share this post Link to post
GoldCoCouple 4,065 Posted May 30, 2017 The thought of running into someone you know is usually frighting at first, but you just need to remember that you are both there for the same reason. They don't want others to find out any more than you do. Say hi and move on. In the future when you run across each other, you will both smile knowing that you share a secret with them. 2 Quote Share this post Link to post
Lionheart72 2,190 Posted May 30, 2017 First trip to our local swingers club, we ran into people we knew. I don't remember exactly, but I'm pretty sure we hadn't gotten more than ten feet inside the door. We all laughed, we hung out and chatted for a bit and then we went our separate ways for the evening. You want a really tough situation - try explaining to someone else how you know the couple you met at a swingers club when you run into them at church. That took some fast thinking, let me tell you. 2 Quote Share this post Link to post
Naughtyvanessa 49 Posted September 20, 2017 If you are running into someone you know - think about it - we are all in the "same boat"... it gives a strange feeling but at the end it is your life ... dont worry to much what other people think or do or ... have fun and enjoy what ever you do 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
