So here we go with our first post. We are a very happy married couple of many years. During sex we both talk about having another person, male, satisfy the wife. We have talked about this in and out of bed for a couple of years. Now, we would like to follow through. The wife already knows what type of person she would like and knows what she would like to happen. We have not jumped in to find the right person one because we are not sure how and two because we are concerned with diseases or potential of contacting something. Advice...

 

First - that picture in your wife's head of what she would like to happen... throw it out. In my experience, setting expectations like that are a roadmap for disappointment. Reality almost never matches your fantasy. The best way to proceed in swinging is to do so without a firm set of expectations beyond "hey let's have some fun."

 

Second - Diseases are a risk. Condoms greatly reduce, but do not entirely eliminate, that risk. If you are concerned about disease (and IMO you should be) always use condoms. If you are terrified of disease, don't swing. Simple as that.

 

Third - Meeting someone. I respectfully disagree with SW PA Couple. I have never yet had a good experience with a swinger web site, especially when looking for a single guy. You can reasonably expect an inbox full of dick pics and variations on "wanna fuck?" as if these guys really think that works. I'm a fan of meeting people at swingers clubs. Despite popular imagination, my experience of them has been they are laid back, friendly environments which are very welcoming to new people.

Maybe we can get some of the more experienced ones on here to give us the best terminology, but the terminology isn't the issue, I think. Might be just defining exactly what you want to happen?

If it is a total stranger, have them wear a condom. The best experience if you are worried about an STD is to do it with someone you already know.
