sweetsnspeed 52 Posted July 24, 2017 We have a question regarding female shaving. For those that shave completely, do you experience any uncomfortableness in your daily routine in that area? Does it depend on the type of panties, weather, etc.? She doesn't mind shaving, but doesn't like to shave the lower portion completely. She likes to leave at least a thin amount of hair. She says that when it is completely shaved, it gets uncomfortable in her normal day to day routine, and even more so if we are both in a frisky mood but not able to do anything about it. She doesn't just let it run wild, but likes to have some sort of, for lack of better term, buffer between her and her panties. So ladies who do shave completely, how do you address this situation? Guest Posted July 28, 2017 I shave mine daily, wear mostly thong undies, some times none at all but have not problems with it. But, mine has always been very light, not much hair there. Have found that I go without undies a lot more since I started keeping it bare. Quote Share this post Link to post
GoldCoCouple 4,065 Posted July 28, 2017 She used to shave, but now greatly prefers waxing instead. Lasts longer and requires less maintenance. She only wears undies when she wears pants... Quote Share this post Link to post
sweetsnspeed 52 Posted August 1, 2017 Thanks everyone. It's not that I am opposed to going bare, just well, things tend to get damp. Maybe I think about naughty things too much. I tend to have the opposite problem that requires lube. Quote Share this post Link to post

sweetsnspeed 52 Posted August 2, 2017 I find that I show it a lot more since I started keeping it bare. Not sure what you mean by showing it a lot more. What I meant by 'not being opposed to going bare' was that I don't mind shaving it completely, but I tend to get wet easily (not just in sexual situations), and it is a little uncomfortable. Wet panties are not a bad thing, but not necessarily when doing normal every day tasks (i.e. grocery shopping, at work, etc.) Quote Share this post Link to post

GoldCoCouple 4,065 Posted August 3, 2017 Wax on, wax off. Breathe in through nose, out the mouth. Wax on, wax off. Don't forget to breathe, very important. Kesuke Miyagi, 1984 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
asncpl 729 Posted August 6, 2017 Waxing is a lot better. No itchiness. As for getting wet, you can try different panties. I have some thicker ones that I wear during that time of the month. If your goal is comfort, thicker cotton ones are better at absorbing wetness. Not the sexiest but don't think that matters for your purpose. Quote Share this post Link to post
dan63 106 Posted August 6, 2017 I'm thinking a more breathable fabric is what she needs. Don't know if cotton is the answer or one of the newer "breathable" materials that will "wick away" the sweat. Quote Share this post Link to post

Cotton panties do definitely help, but sometimes, not enough. Quote Share this post Link to post
LoveLove 28 Posted May 25, 2018 I shaved for about 2 years. I had conflicted feelings about it. I'm trying to be my free and happy self and didn't feel that shaving my pubs for the benefit of someone else's comfort was accomplishing that. Trimming is okay - but I need some cushion and protection down there. As we approached the idea of swinging, my husband for the first time mentioned that maybe he should trim, etc. I freakin' love his hair. It's beautiful. One of the things that I realized was going to concern me with swinging was if being natural was going to be a deal-breaker. It may for some people and not others. It's certainly not very inviting to think that others in a club would be gagging over "Oh, God, I just saw BUSH!" That would be sad because we are looking for open-minded, accepting and free-spirited people. There's enough judgement in the world. 2 Quote Share this post Link to post

The discomfort for me was when it starts growing back in, stubble and ingrown hairs on a hoo hoo sucks, and snags in my panties, and can be itchy which is not a desirable trait. No one is looking to bang the chick with an itchy vagina. I used to have a daily upkeep routine as I was a dancer, but in my mid twenties I got laser hair removal and it changed my life. Did my arm pits, my happy trail, my legs and most of my hoo hoo, I have a small spot I left a little bit in case I want to add a landing strip down the road. Check Groupon for laser hair removal packages and buy a few for your wife. It changed my life. Edited December 16, 2020 by JessicaJamison Quote Share this post Link to post
travelingprofessional 47 Posted December 16, 2020 Significant other shaves daily. I'd prefer she wax or laser but it is her body. I'm not a fan of hair so I'm happy she shaves. I've found that giving oral is much better when the woman is bare. Again, my preference. I wouldn't decline giving because a woman didn't shave. Off topic, I (the guy) shave and use chemical cream to keep myself bare. I like the feel of the skin when it is bare, Significant Other prefers everything is at least short to avoid getting hair in her mouth during oral. The chemical cream took some trial and error with various brands, how long I kept it on, etc. I found that certain creams did better on my chest, others in the area above my member, etc. Again, it took some trial and error to figure it out. GoldCoCouple 4,065 Posted December 16, 2020 She has talked about laser but hasn't pulled the trigger. She says the next step is getting one of those home laser thingies (that probably won't work). Quote Share this post Link to post

She says the next step is getting one of those home laser thingies (that probably won't work). The home laser stuff does not work, I can generally find a 3 treatment for $99 on Groupon pretty easy. I'd recomend that, they recomend 9 treatments but in my experience after just 6 treatments the hair is completely eliminated. She can ask for a female technician if she is concerned with modesty. The treatment stings during treatment, but its quick, and the skin is tender for 2 days after like a mild sunburn would be. But you use a calming cream, but then there is no more hair. First treatment is the worst as it is the time with the most hair. After that there is less hair every time. It works, and is permanent. I cannot recomend it enough. Quote Share this post Link to post
