Female bisexuality: more likely if the parents are swingers?

With the rise of bisexual identity on the rise from people and also from celebrities and from characters on tv and movie also on the rise as well. And with swinging also on the rise as well. Do you think girls/women are more likely become bi? In the past 5 or so years I seen a lot more celebrities come out as bi. Stars like Bella Thorne, Rowan Blanchard, Anna Paquin, Evan Rachel Wood, Kristen Stewart and many. Do you think their influence and the mix with your lifestyle (if they know about it) might affect them later on in life?

By all accounts they say around 70% of people's first sexual experiences in life are with the same sex.

 

Not sure how accurate that is but once read a sexual study that basically said its not uncommon for people's first sexual experiences in life to be with the same sex / same gender.

 

I'd say a lot of people have some experience with the same sex, and yes it is becoming more popular amongst girls.

Not sure about 70% and I'm not sure how many will admit it. Only a very few know that my first at age 13 was with my friend. She showed me what her 17 year old boyfriend did to her.

My wife's daughter has had bi-sexual experiences. Not sure if it runs in the family, or just because some people are more sexual than others.

Like, POOF! I'm bi? I don't think people just 'become' anything. It's either there or it isn't. What I do think is that it is much more allowed, encouraged, and acceptable (and it makes most guys crazy). It also gives girls a type of 'power' over guys and they like playing with that power. It's now just okay and 'safe' to allow ones bi side out (or even to just pretend) so that is happening more often.

Well, it sure is the popular thing for women....not too warm for guys yet. I think there is a bit of bi in everyone, some act on it more than others. The whole label things is wrong--Be Yourself!

I think the more big names admit to being bisexual the more socially acceptable it becomes to be bisexual so more women are exploring that side of their persona and it is leading to more people realizing love is simply love, and lesbian activities can be deeply satisfying sexually.
