MarniJohn 172 Posted August 21, 2017 I was reading an article about swingers and it talked about couples feeling the need to lie about their age. I'm curious to know how people feel about this. I have noticed that so many couples on SDC and SLS are not honest. Some couples we know who are in their early 60s claim to be late 40s. I think it's ridiculous but they claim if they are honest about their ages, nobody contacts them. I suggested leaving the age blank so people can judge them for how they look but they said they tried that and it didn't work. Thoughts? Quote Share this post Link to post
SAMnTINA 362 Posted August 21, 2017 We are what we are. Real ages always shown. If our real age keeps us off your play list there is no sense in wasting your time or ours. If eveyone one were the same what would the point be. Quote Share this post Link to post
GoldCoCouple 4,068 Posted August 21, 2017 One thing is that when you set up an account and enter your ages, that doesn't update as time progresses. Still, having your age 1,2,5 years off is different from it being 10+ years off. One is 'close enough' and can be from oversight, but 10+ is just deception and we stay away from people who start off with deception. If you can't be honest, you can't be with us. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
Guest Posted August 21, 2017 We treat it like prices on a menu, or the lack thereof. If you really have to ask, then you are probably in the wrong place. If you are looking at our photos, or talking to us in person, you really shouldn’t have to ask our ages. The photo’s are within 4 years tops. Quote Share this post Link to post
robaval 220 Posted August 28, 2017 Rob is 56 and I am 35. We require really current photos before we meet anyone new couple to couple! We don't worry about ages at all. I don't officially work out but have been trying to watch my weight. Rob runs 4 days a week and weight trains 3 days generally, so he is in better physical condition that many of the young men. padoc 1,704 Posted August 28, 2017 SDC automatically adjusts ages as birthdays pass. SLS doesn't. For us, we try to keep the ages accurate on that site but may fall behind by a year of 2. When we're contacted on that site, we look at the year the couple joined and often, after looking at the pictures, do the math and come up with a more accurate age. For the most part, we have not run into many couples who are intentionally deceitful about their age. 2 Quote Share this post Link to post
njbm 2,901 Posted August 29, 2017 We are 60 in October. Ouch. We put our real age, but it seems most Swingers are 35-45. Quote Share this post Link to post
