M1F2KTJ 473 Posted September 9, 2017 No not like a hotel room. Does anyone feel uncomfortable about having a party at their house? With friends of friends that they don't know? I/we like to keep it intimate with people we have grew to know over time. We have never advanced beyond a foursome. Quote Share this post Link to post
kikonkrome 844 Posted September 11, 2017 Nobody comes to our home, we use hotel rooms. 2 Quote Share this post Link to post
cplnuswing 4,713 Posted November 19, 2017 I think it would depend on the size of the party. Small group of friends or friends of friends, then yes. We haven't but we've thought about it and may some day. Wide open party with people you don't know showing up? Not interested in that. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
adamgunn 1,461 Posted November 22, 2017 We had a party of eight people once . . . house wasn't big enough for more. We knew two of the couples, one was new to us. We had a great time. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
N&G 207 Posted November 22, 2017 We've been hosting parties at our home for 15 years, many times with 12 or more couples. We only invite people that we already know and feel that they will fit in with our style of group play. The parties have always been by invitation only and are never publicly advertised. Guests may recommend someone new as long as they have actually played with them and feel that they would be compatible. So far it has worked out well for us and we prefer house parties to hotel parties. 4 Quote Share this post Link to post
CB&DD 219 Posted November 24, 2017 Our current house doesn't lend itself well to many guests. We are house shopping and are going to look at a house Sunday, one of the upsides to the house is that at some point it was kind of divided to where it has a rental area that is a living room, bath, kitchen, bedroom set up in it. We figure we'll leave it that way and use that area for parties that way it is separate from our living area. Between that and the outdoor area we think it should work out to where we can have parties at home. Hopefully it is as good in person as the pics online look. Quote Share this post Link to post
SAMnTINA 362 Posted November 24, 2017 Yes we love to host parties for our friends. The key here is never a party open to the public and we invite those we have met and or spoken with over time while keeping the numbers limited to what we have space for. If it's a playu party we make it clear what time to arrive, what time we expect everyone to be naked by and what time the party ends. If we don't know their real names we don't ivite then. 3 Quote Share this post Link to post

Guest Posted November 25, 2017 We have had MFM and FMF at our home but would not host a swinger party there; just too much opportunity for something bad to happen. Quote Share this post Link to post
njbm 2,901 Posted November 25, 2017 Our house is not laid out well for one. If we did have room, we would only invite people we know. However, our friends recently hosted and two of the males got into a physical fight. We know one of the guys and we never would have predicted that behavior. Our friends have not hosted since. Free flowing sex and alcohol. What could go wrong? That said, 99.9% of all house parties we’ve attended have been peaceful and fun. Quote Share this post Link to post
BabeAndApe 70 Posted November 29, 2017 I have two teens at home, so no. If that were not the case, I would only host a house party for people I had previously met and felt comfortable with. I do not typically bring strangers into my home (other than contractors, etc). Quote Share this post Link to post
Sereno & Rider 26 Posted November 29, 2017 Maybe someday? We don't know of any swingers down here. Ocean front in the Caribbean with fully equipped 3 bedrooms/3baths apt. with own pool. Walled/gated private property with our private home with our pool plus another apt. Secure, potable water and own elec. systems. Cable TV and wifi. Might even get the hot tub working again... lol. 1.5 hour flight from Miami and 20 minutes to our place at the edge of town. Cheap hotel down the street too. Now... what to do with our domestic workers during the day and our 3 National Police that live in the small apt? (maybe they join in? lol. at least you will know that someone is watching.8-O ) Ohhh... the possibilities! Edit: NOT advertising. Just thinking/wishing out loud. Quote Share this post Link to post
JustAskJulie 2,595 Posted November 30, 2017 I would host a group of people that I know, and maybe allow people to bring friends on a limited level (basically - the friends I know and trust the most I'd be ok with bringing someone). I would not host a party at my home that was wide open for many reasons... not wanting strangers in my house for starters, but from the standpoint of wanting a good party, having a closer knit group of people that I've already vetted just means a higher likelihood that everyone will mesh and have fun. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post

Newcouple17 101 Posted December 5, 2017 Right now, we're not comfy holding a party in our home.....not that we really know anyone to invite! lol But I guess things might change down the line? Quote Share this post Link to post
lnw 145 Posted December 15, 2017 Our house is perfect for hosting such parties (on a smaller scale of 10 couples or so) and we have hosted other LS couples we have met at other events to come out to visit us for several days. But we would not invite couples we have not met previously. We did attend a house party 4 hrs from our place where the hosting couple rented a large 6 bedroom house w/hot tub and deck. They invited only couples they felt would fit the party venue and spoke with them on the phone prior to extending an invite. 15 couples and a few singles showed up. Was a great party and hoping to see a repeat in the future. The key was that the house was rented and not someone's private residence. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
skyguy6977 88 Posted March 14, 2018 We have hosted several and like them very much as our house also lends itself to the lifestyle. One of the first things I learned though is put slip covers on all you nice furniture. Deb. 2 Quote Share this post Link to post
Freaky.Fiona 74 Posted July 10, 2018 Yes, up to a point in numbers attending and all either couples we know well or a special invitation (usually we all try to alternate among our places). We always have an amazing time! Quote Share this post Link to post
Rediron 15 Posted January 2, 2019 We have hosted a few smaller (3-4 couples) "parties" at our home. We are still learning and definitely going to use some/most of the OP's suggestions in the future. Quote Share this post Link to post

Emt 91 Posted February 16, 2019 We haven't full swapped or even been to a club yet. However, we do have a very nice finished basement complete with a thick futon, tantra chair, sex swing, fireplace, bar, full bathroom and a massive toy collection. I'd LOVE to host a party at our house, but we would have to feel very comfortable with other couples for that to happen. Quote Share this post Link to post
Guest Posted February 17, 2019 We have had many. The smallest 5 couples, the largest has been maybe 20 couples. There is a secret to having them and that is being in a place within the lifestyle that you can invite known swingers and for us...full swap. You don't want a crowd of wanna be swingers, voyeurs, or posers...it will kill a party and there will be drama. And if you are just inviting couples off an online dating site...invite 50 couples for every 5 you expect to attend and maybe two of them actually swing. Having a good party takes a lot of time and effort and it's best to start the core of it with your circle of friends and let them invite their friends. Quote Share this post Link to post
njbm 2,901 Posted February 17, 2019 We went to one on Friday at a stunning place with a NY harbor view. There were enough players to overcome the watchers and the women for women only. Quote Share this post Link to post

That is something I hadn't considered, making friends. I mean I was under the impression you meet up at a club, possibly play with a couple and then either that's it or possibly they invite us to a party or we invite them to ours (once we're better established in the lifestyle). But I suppose just like we have friends now that we've met and will go out to eat with....we'll make friends in the lifestyle we can call/text for dinner and a swap. Thanks 1 Quote Share this post Link to post

Emt 91 Posted February 18, 2019 Oh babe, that's the beauty of the lifestyle. You can have close and intimate friends, share lives, share uninhibited sex, and share a special secret. See that's great!! I'd love to have couple's friends we CAN talk about sex AND have sex with! That is exactly what's missing from our current relationships with other couples. However, we've known those couples since high school so there's a familiarity/comfort there...but sex is the clear line in the sand with them. After knowing that, I'm really hoping we get invited to parties and can develop relationships like this but I'm not sure how many trips to a club it'd take for that to happen. Right now my wife expressed interest in getting a Sybian...which means I'll probably buy one in the next month or so. Then that can be added to the other toys/furniture that'd make for awesome house parties! But none of that matters socially speaking if we don't develop that relationship/connection with other couples. Thanks! Quote Share this post Link to post
