MarniJohn 172 Posted September 14, 2017 I think I finally understand what a hotwife is. I'm wondering if there is something that is similar but applies to the man. Such as "hot husband"? 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
GoldCoCouple 4,068 Posted September 14, 2017 There needs to be but I don't know of a specific term. Other than 'pig' (a married man wanting to sleep with women other than his wife is usually called a pig) 3 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
couplers 4,718 Posted September 15, 2017 I don't know if there is a term for it, but it does exist. For a couple of years hubby had regular sexual relations with a series of women, women that I vetted and chose. It was a power thing on my part, I was playing and he had agreed to be monogamous, but it was my way of getting over that. I would do the selecting, talk with these women to find out whether they were open-minded and suitable, introduce her to hubby, socialize with her with hubby present, wait for her to make the first hint of interest in hubby, then let her know that I was receptive and we both would be flattered... By the time she and hubby would have sex I had a feeling of accomplishment and comfort that overcame any jealousy that I had had. 2 Quote Share this post Link to post
MarniJohn 172 Posted September 15, 2017 Both of your answers are so interesting. I am female and find hotwifing fascinating. I never want to judge but can't help but think it's a control issue for the men, no? I really don't know how else to explain the whole thing. I was married to a man who was always trying to push me to sleep with other men (before we even got into the lifestyle). I was so confused! He was very controlling and I sensed that it was part of that issue for him. The fact that it isn't spoken about, or given a term for the men is a very curious thing... EastInWest 1,524 Posted September 15, 2017 In all seriousness, I think in many cultures the male version of hotwifing is simply called "male". Both of your answers are so interesting. I usually think of "hotwifing" as a situation where the woman is in control, with the husband's approval, rather than being guided by the husband. That is, that she'll go find her own boyfriends, etc. We've previously uncovered the terms 'stag'/'vixen' for a different dynamic where the husband leads. Of course, the vixen is presumably enthusiastic about the new game they're playing, rather than grappling with controlling behavior. It'd be kind of naive to ignore that there's a power thing there, but that's different from pressuring somebody to do or be something they don't want. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
asncpl 730 Posted September 19, 2017 Gigolo? I thought that's a male hooker. Anyhow, the mental image of Richard Gere (in his prime) always pops in my head when I see that word. I just seriously dated myself. Quote Share this post Link to post
