Are you tired of the usual suspects?

We have been on SLS for about 4 years. We’ve met nice people and we have nice friends from it. But when we look at Who’s on, we cycle through a lot of the same people who are not good matches. We joined SDC to mix it up a little.

 

Is anyone else a little tired of the usual suspects? Not that we are perfect or God’s gift. And we are lucky to live in the highly populated NYC metro area. But....

We’ve tried Web sites other than SLS. What we found at these other sites is the same set of usual suspects.

We enjoy meeting people on lifestyle cruises and vacations. We meet more people with a little experience and confidence. Easier to get to the end zone. On SLS, it is difficult to even meet people and unlikely to get to play.

If it is the usual suspects on line, then try a different way of meeting others: house parties, clubs, resorts, etc. We see exactly what you are saying with online sites...sometimes it seems like the people just don't change (which is why noobies get showered with invites...fresh blood) but if one way isn't working, try something new.

We've been on SLS for about three years now (the year in-between we took off so really two years) In that time there has not been very few new people on SLS that are actually active... In fact after taking a year off there was almost nobody that was new and active (but almost all the previous people were still there). We tried other sites and they were virtually dead for our area. We do hear hints of KIK groups but I'm not going to spend my time wading through KIK groups.

 

There are a few couples we enjoy but we are not that active locally. Most of our activity is going out of town to a club for a weekend and now trying cruises and planning to attend hotel takeovers. I think this is going to be how we operate going forward.. A few of the local group events and for actually playing doing an out of town club/hotel takeover/etc every month or two. It's more money but less of a time investment.

In our area (near Atlanta), there are SDC meet n greets, many of which are free. In fact, Paradise Valley has one each month. It is a nude resort in Dawsonville, about an hour north of Atlanta. Free entry, free meals (3), and a chance to play. Not all do. You just have to get out and introduce yourselves. What better way than when you are already naked?
