njbm 2,878 Posted December 9, 2017 Having recently hit the big 6-0, we are starting to wonder how long we can keep this monkey business going. With an assist from modern pharmaceuticals, everything still works. Have you thought about the age when you will retire from the lifestyle? 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
PeterJ 954 Posted December 10, 2017 Having recently hit the big 6-0, we are starting to wonder how long we can keep this monkey business going. With an assist from modern pharmaceuticals, everything still works. Have you thought about the age when you will retire from the lifestyle? I recently turned 70 and I find myself considering whether its worth the effort. My wife and I have a fulfilling sex life. Perhaps that’s sufficient at this point. On the other hand a few years ago I had an MFM scene at a party with a couple who were in their mid-80s and had been playing at least since their wedding night — the year I was born! 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
SW_PA_Couple 4,024 Posted December 10, 2017 I, njbm, will have 68 years later this month. Cannot go as hard or as long as before but still going well enough. I think you can look forward to going at least as long as this. I just hope to not loose my mind. That would be the worst. Wishing you and everybody the best right up to the end. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
padoc 1,703 Posted December 10, 2017 We plan to stop when other couples are no longer interested in seeing us naked. 2 Quote Share this post Link to post
adamgunn 1,460 Posted December 10, 2017 I'll be 69 soon, and I'm still going . . . Not as often as I used to, but still in the game. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
Fundamental Law 2,885 Posted December 11, 2017 I will be 63 later this month, Mrs. FL is already 65. We look around at our cohort--those with whom we attended school, co-workers,etc.--and observe how different people age differently. Yes, some of our cohort have died. Yes, some of our cohort have aged and become infirm. We consider ourselves fortunate indeed. There is something of a "use it or lose it" aspect to aging. Sex is certainly on that list. To the extent that the LS keeps sex interesting and exciting for both of us, we'll continue. Too many of our cohort became sexually boring, bored, and quit...some decades ago. Eventually, the physiology of aging will win. In the meantime, sex is part of our lives, and the LS is part of our sexual lives. 4 Quote Share this post Link to post
Guest Posted December 11, 2017 We subscribe to the use it or lose it theory whether applied to walking and exercise or swinging. Quote Share this post Link to post
Wornsilver 219 Posted December 11, 2017 Did anyone notice that the responses above are from some of the frequent contributors to other posts? These people offer sound advice and commentary drawn from their experience and wisdom and I, for one, am grateful. I'm 72, Mrs. Worn is 63 and we have not entertained others in our bed for a few years for a number of reasons. We have an excellent sex life and hope to keep it hot for many more years, knowing that aging is just like gravity--not only a concept, but the law. 2 Quote Share this post Link to post
GoldCoCouple 4,066 Posted December 11, 2017 Whenever she wants to, whenever it isn't fun anymore, or shortly after we die, whichever comes first. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
