Best Site Western Canada

I tried doing a forum search for Western Canada and came up empty. We're looking for recommendations as to which lifestyle site would be best for Western Canada. We tried Kasidie and had no success. We only had four other couples using the site in our city. What are other Western Canadian people using?

We have friends from Calgary who are on SLS. We met them on a lifestyle cruise. Worth a try. You can start as a free member to see how it goes, though some skip free members as unserious. Also, the site will list events that you can attend.

If you can “swing” it financially, Lifestyle trips are fun. Desire or Desire Pearl, Hedo 2, Bliss Cruise, etc. You meet a lot of people at a time, instead of just a couple.

We've been to Desire RM seven times, Desire Pearl twice and Hedonism II three times. (we even made it to Hedo III before they closed it down) We absolutely love lifestyle vacations. We've meet so many fun people traveling but everyone ends up living so far away. So we either have meet again in Mexico or we need to fly to see our friends to have fun as nobody would ever want to come to Saskatchewan! I don't blame them one bit. This is our home but really, should friends come see us and do nothing but hang out in our hot tub or should we go see them and party in Toronto and hit X Club? The answer is obvious, right?

 

As mentioned Kasidie was a bust for us as here were very few couples in our area. We would have to travel significant distances to meet people anyway so if we're willing to travel, we already have options. We'll take your advice and see if SLS is a better fit.:-)

We meet friends all over, too, even though we live near NYC. The four way match is elusive and after four years on SLS, we’ve cycled through many of our peers online. We do better on LS trips.

We were actually discussing SLS tonight and apparently this entire thread may be for nothing. We discussed your reply and in doing so started to consider how many trips we've been on. It's been a lot! It kind of dawned on us that perhaps after more than ten years traveling and no online presence we prefer meeting people face to face. We enjoy meeting new people in the pool and going for dinner and getting to know them just as much as we enjoy playing with others. We're thinking for now we may just keep doing what's been working.

We're from Red Deer and we've been looking for a site too. Everything we find wants us to pay to read messages and it's too much to justify the expense. Any advice would help.
