Extra fees for special events at swingers clubs?

My husband and I will be going to a swingers club for the first time this Friday. To join the club we will have to pay a membership fee, but there is also an event on Friday, $25 ticket. Can you please explain to me why there is an additional fee?

Because there are not many swingers’ events and they want to make as much money as possible.

The club has to pay for things like rent, light, heat/air conditioning, plus some kind of income for the employees and profit for the owners to live on... at a minimum. Got to make that money somehow.

You should only pay the membership fee once a year. The event fee is paid every time you visit the club.

Well...there are some clubs that charge an annual membership fees. This is simply to be a member of that one particular club, whether you use their premises or not. In addition, there are charges for everytime you make use of the premises: parties, events and other specials.

Even if you never go again, you add the two together and it’s less than a guy would spend on a date and look at the fun you both have.

We've often done the math since we've been involved in this hobby. We go to Ft Lauderdale 2-4 times a year to go to Trapeze. $50 quarterly fee, $75 friday night, $100 saturday. Where else in the Miami metro area can you get dinner and breakfast for two nights, bring your own booze, watch nice looking couples in sexy clothing and get laid all for about $225. We've paid more than that for dinner and Mrs Doc can't let her boobs out.

If the clubs don't require a membership fee then they have to allow everyone to come in. This keeps curiousity seekers at bay. The fee is less than the cost of a hotel room (and most motel rooms) and like padoc said, where else can you get dinner, breakfast, music, your own bottle served to you and beds (plus sex) for this amount of money? I believe the membership also allows them to serve liquor from your bottle. Well worth the price! I prefer to know that everyone in the club had to register with their license up front!

Mrs. Padoc is always welcome at our place (we've been known to serve dinner before) and the cover charge will be waved but ONLY if she lets her boobs out.
