Looking for a NC party

So we want to expand our horizons and would like to attend a event near lake norman/charlotte to get a feel on how events happen. Could someone point us in the right direction to attend a event. We're familiar with SLS but would rather not waste money on a membership...yet.

Live in the Charlotte are and been looking myself . Just joined Carolina friends here in the area they do send out news on hotel events in NC .

Carolina Friends has been around for 30 or more years now. They do hotel takeovers in CLT and Greensboro. They once had an on-premises location but had to shut it down a few years ago. They've been around long enough to know how to do it right.
