Age difference in swinging

I have a question. Do you always play with couples close to your age? Any experiences swinging with couples who are a lot older or younger? How is the experience different?

My husband and I are both 28 so we typically play with older couples-usually 40s. We rarely get messages and at parties very few people approach us until we've 'proved ourselves'. The age difference doesn't bother us. We love hearing from couple's who have been married 20+ years and their kids are grown. Those are the people we make friends with, because have littles, it's easier if only one couple's kids are younger. I think it'd be difficult to plan stuff around both couple's having little ones.

We have yet to play routinely with anyone close to our age but we have had our one night stands.

Age doesn't matter to me if someone can keep up. At parties I like to dance and have fun, if someone sits at the bar the whole time I won't be interested.

That kid thing is something I never considered. Very wise for someone in their 20s.

When we got into swinging, we were in our early 50s. The people we played with were usually within ten years of us. But there were exceptions. We never particularly worried about it.

 

I understand that a younger couple may not want to play with people significantly older than they are; in my opinion, it's their loss. While an older couple may seem less 'hot', they've usually got a lot more experience, they can show somebody a great time between the sheets.

Our boundaries are defined like this, if we could technically be of parent age of one of the other couple, or them parent age of us it ain't gonna work. Beyond that, we are open to any age. We are 39/40, so 27-53.

 

I can tell you this, older women... just know how to please a man.

 

At the same time, younger men know how to pound the shit out of my wife, better than I can in some cases. (But too young they are like a firecracker)

We have played with mostly older couples and a few our age. One slightly younger couple turned into a year long polyamorous relationship.

Bear and I are 51 - we prefer couples from 40-60. Our kids range in age from 22-33 and we agreed it’d be too weird for us to go lower in age than our kids. The other night We met a group of people in their late 20’s and we had some great conversation but it was too similar to talking to our kids and their friends so we kept it light and fun.
