Trapeze FLL on Thursday Nights

My wife and I are going to be in FLL in December. We have a free Thursday night and are planning on going to the Trapeze. The only other times we have gone have been on Saturday nights when it is couples only. I am concerned about my wife being uncomfortable if there are alot of single men around. I have some questions that maybe someone can help:

 

How crowded are Thursdays? Are there lots of people or is it fairly empty?

 

Since they allow single men, is it full of single men? Are they all over the place?

 

Do they allow single men in the back room?

It's been a couple of years since we've been there. That said, the back room used to be split so that single guys were only allowed on one side. Couples could be on either side, but if you didn't want single guys around, you could stick to the couples only side. You should call Trapeze and ask what the current policy is. I don't know how busy Thursday will be. it won't be like Friday and Saturday, but those nights can be a little too packed. Call and ask.

We booked our hotel room. We will go and give a report. What is the worst that could happen? We go and it is wall to wall guys or we go and it is completely empty. Regardless, we will post our findings.

Good Morning. Thursdays are typically their slower nights so shouldn't be too pact or uncomfortable at all. If your wifey is uncomfortable around single men you can always opt to stay on the right (couples only) side of the back (towels only) play room.

So we attended this past Thursday. We were really disappointed to say the least. We arrived at 9:30 and left about 1:00. Maybe a total of 30 people. 4-6 single guys. Not one couple danced. 2 of the single guys were young black guys that were pretty aggressive. They kept following us around asking my wife if she wanted to play. We walked in the back room and one of them followed us there and kept asking. We kept telling him we were not interested. Finally, one of the bouncers kicked him out of the backroom.

 

The main issue was the club was empty. Glad we tried it, next time we will just go on Saturdays.

Friday or (especially) Saturday is always the best night to attend any club. Any other night usually can end up the way yours did. Just not that many people go out on Thursday. Sorry your night wasn't better...
