njbm 2,873 Posted February 12, 2019 We are attending a small house party of nine couples. One of the couples is a couple that we played with once. When we asked them if they wanted to play again, they said they did not. They were courteous, but clear and direct. Honestly, we were surprised, but not crushed. I guess we’ll just be friendly with them. We have no desire to play with them again either at this point. Our meeting was two years ago. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post

Two years is a long time. Write no script other than that. 4 Quote Share this post Link to post
GoldCoCouple 4,066 Posted February 12, 2019 It's been two years so I would say that you weren't really interested in playing with them again either. Don't take it as anything other than they (and you) weren't interested. There are also lots of couples that have a one play rule. Don't overthink it, it's not personal but just wasn't a match. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post

They clearly said that they did not want to play with us a second time, so we certainly would not ask them to play again after that response. They are a nice couple and if we are not a match for them, no problem. Just a little awkward at a small house party. Quote Share this post Link to post
padoc 1,703 Posted February 12, 2019 Its only awkward if you let it be so. What ICM and Gold said!!! 3 Quote Share this post Link to post
Guest Posted February 13, 2019 It could also be something even less judgmental than you think. Maybe they had some curiosity about an other couple or two? Depending on the party, there may not be enough time to 'take a turn' with everyone. Quote Share this post Link to post
Guest Posted February 13, 2019 It could be lots of things. The one play rule, they had committed to playing meeting and playing with another couple that evening, they were there looking for some other type of activity like MFM or something more orgy like, etc. Just go on, let them make any next move and find others to play with. njbm 2,873 Posted February 13, 2019 We will be friendly with them and look to other couples for play. I got the clear feeling that their wife did not find our husband appealing. I didn’t find her scintillating, either, so no great loss. We’ll move forward. Maybe I will send another woman into multiple screaming Os within earshot of the rejector. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
njbm 2,873 Posted February 16, 2019 The husband of the other couple was initially super friendly to both of us. At the end of the party, the wife warmed up and was also very friendly with us. Not uncomfortable at all. We were friendly, too. No crisis, one or both of them did not find one or both of us appealing. It happens. In between, we had a nice time and we both played. I have always been too focused on a couple to couple swap and that’s not how it works at a house party. I played with a woman who I did not expect to play with ( a good thing) and another woman was fun. My wife had suitors too. Once again, whatever I think is going to happen is not what happens. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
