Emt 91 Posted February 19, 2019 My wife and I are looking to meet other couples and play. We are going to go to a club about an hour from us. If we hit it off there with one or more couples, great. But I see people talk a LOT about SLS. I've also seen in vids on youtube that Kasidie is popular. I know both are site sponsors. Which have you had better luck with? And is an online profile really needed in the lifestyle in order to build a network of friends to socialize/play with? I'm a little weary about having pics of us online. Thanks! JandKinBoise 858 Posted February 19, 2019 Your approach to swinging is as individual as you. If an on line presence is an issue, don't do it. Everything out there is there to make the difficult task of finding a playmate easier. If there is stress, it isn't making it easier. So, no you don't have to have an account, and if you do, you don't have to have pictures, and if you have pictures, they can be pictures you are comfortable posting. Clothed, no face maybe. You can customize your swinging style to suit you guys. My suggestion to to check out the sites as a guest and see if they offer anything. They really can enhance your circle of friends. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
Guest Posted February 19, 2019 Go to a club in your area first and talk to other couples about what they use successfully. Our experience is that online dating sites develop regional strengths over time. Quote Share this post Link to post

About 10 years back my wife and I did the free membership to SLS. But we never really explored much. What you said makes sense. I think for now we'll sniff around just to familiarize ourselves. Our experience is that online dating sites develop regional strengths over time. Going to a club is the game plan, and that's a good idea to chat about it with others to see what they've experienced. Not quite sure what you mean by "regional strengths over time." Could you please clarify? Thanks! Quote Share this post Link to post
MrandMrsA 76 Posted February 19, 2019 Try the different sites. You can usually get a free 30 day trial subscription trough a site's banner ads - including swingersboard, I assume. We have only used Kasidie. I have heard that sls is a mess with a 1990's look and feel. I would also suggest trying one at a time. It takes some time to learn to use the sites, and you may find yourself overwhelmed at first with flirts, friend requests, and backstage pass requests. Also, get yourself certified, the site is limited without it. You can post as few or as vanilla pictures as you want. With Kasidie there are three levels of access, one anyone can see (put your faceless vanilla pics here), one for certified members (put your faceless lingerie pics here), a third level for when you exchange backstage passes with someone (put face pics here). It's up to you to use our not use these levels. One of the most useful features is finding where all the meet and greets and other events are. Quote Share this post Link to post
adamgunn 1,460 Posted February 19, 2019 Just a thought - If you do get on one, pay for a one- or three-month membership, you'll probably make some friends there, then are you just going to abandon that site? Maybe, maybe not. Quote Share this post Link to post
