Have you ever found swing partners in a vanilla setting?

We are at a vanilla B&B in Florida. We met a nice couple. We talked with them for awhile. The next day, I asked my wife if she thought they were swingers. She said she thought the same thing. How the heck do you broach that subject? Yeah, we want to f you guys. Advice wanted!

Co workers are a common avenue. Lost count long ago of that number. Happened for me as well. Back in my school days I led a couple 'college girls' astray. We have a few times. Once in Key West, we were at Sloppy Joes, a crowded Friday night, had two of us at a table for 5. Another couple about our age came walking through obviously looking for a seat and we offered to let them join. We chatted a bit between songs by the band, finshished our drinks and meal and gave the table to them. Later that evening, we bumpped into them in a swingers club. We have also met other swinger couples in Saugatuck, Michigan, Chicago, and Las Vegas, just at bars, happenstance. What is the statistic these days, 5% or 7% of people consider themselves to be swingers? so one in twenty? Not bad odds.

If you include couples who are open to the idea at some level but haven't yet tried it, the percentage is much higher. My wife has been particularly successful at starting those conversations and ultimately getting vanilla couples to play. But it doesn't always go to completion. We've had several soft swaps that went no farther, and surprisingly two where the wife was eager to join us (and he was for her too), but no way was the other wife going to allow her husband to fuck my wife. We concluded married couples are the place to go unicorn hunting.

I'm not sure if this counts but it's kind of a weird story. We had a long term vanilla couple we would vacation and party with. It was obvious after a few years they were open to swapping. I knew the husband really well and knew he was just a shit lover. Also his wife and mine talked about his 'skills' which was a huge dick and the wrong personality to go with it. Nothing past flirting ever happened with them.

Once they divorced, 7 years after we met them, she joined us.
