We're coming up on that time where we're going to start shopping around for a new place to live full-time out west. As some readers know from my prior posts, we're not a "lifestyle couple" but are considering the possibility, and things like topless sunbathing or visiting a club are certainly our speed. We're looking for somewhere clean and reasonably cosmopolitan with "big city" amenities and vanilla nightlife/entertainment, but also reasonably laid-back attitudes about sex: the kind of place where people mostly mind their own business, etc.
We picture our off-time mostly consisting of going out for nice diners and cocktails, outdoors, road trips, and screwing our brains out. Our preference is to avoid deep freezes and gray skies. We have our own ideas, but since many on this forum live in the western U.S. and are more familiar with the cities to begin with, I thought I'd ask the question in the form of a poll.

New to swinging and having a hard time finding people and places that is open to the community. I don’t know where to go to find people in my area, don’t want to use most sites cause they make you oh and this leaves a trail on your card statements. Sharing an account with my family I want to keep my endevours discreet. Anyone have any ideas or know places in the texas panhandle that is open to swingers?

...So me and my guy finally went to a club together. My first time at a club, but not his, though he hasnt been in involved in the LS in years. We went to The Velvet Curtain in Dallas, attending the New Years Eve Bash they were having.
We didn't play with anyone or even play while there at all. We did watch a little in a public play area and that was hot. I loved the way everyone seemed so nice..
It was a great time, even though we didn't really find anyone to play with, I had a blast. And now I feel much more comfortable going to other clubs and trying other things.
We are new to this...so I feel this first step was a total success...
Thanks for reading.

Hi guys! A friend of mine suggested trying out Colette in New Orleans. I have a few questions and most of the research I’ve done has come up short for answers. Both my friend and I are lesbians, but completely open with our sexuality and just trying to find something new. My appearance is more masculine (short hair, men’s clothing) and I’m worried that this would not be a scene I’d be welcome in. To speak bluntly to get to the point without beating around the bush, my question is, would I be welcome/approachable at this type of club?
