Do you think your swing club will survive coronavirus?

It's no secret that small businesses are taking it in the ass while we're locked down, and the longer we go, the further up the ass the business will take it. I seriously doubt that most swing clubs will be able to qualify for the bail-out money. (Can't you just see the headline on the six-o'clock news? "Sex club given $50,000 so they can continue immoral business!")

 

How about your local swing club. Any feeling on whether they will reopen once the restrictions are lifted? If you are the owner of a swing club or an employee, the story of your current situation is doubly valued.

Like so much associated with this whole mess, I think the answer right now is "Who knows?"

Not sure if a swing club is considered a "Prurient" business but I'm guessing, yes.

 

Then on the other hand, and won't comment on this either for the reason stated above, among other seemingly random non-essential businesses, Georgia is allowing "private clubs" to reopen.  I believe that is how most swing clubs are operated, as a private members-only club, you become a member when you pay your door fee.  Being able to open your doors does you no good though if hardly anyone is willing to step through your door, and I think that's where we are still at overall.  I just checked Trapeze Club Atlanta website, and they still say they are closed until further notice, so it may be they have come to the same conclusion.  Whether them and other clubs are still around to reopen their doors in a normal manner eventually, I guess we'll just have to wait to see and hope.

I hope so!  We have seriously discussed and agreed that once Trapeze (FLL) reopens, we'll definitely go for a long weekend at Haulover and the Club. We think Trapeze will survive. The club is long established, well managed,  has a good rep for cleanliness, and a huge clientele. I would guess that some of the lesser clubs may have problems regenerating their business.

I think swinging for many is on hold until there is a vaccine or an effective treatment. 

I posted previously that I contracted a three month respiratory infection from a swinging encounter a few years ago.  Which was not as potentially bad as CV19. 
 

But when the coast is clear, I expect a lot of pent up swinging activity.

For us, "The Club" is our family.  We've had a little too much at home time, but we're holding it together.  The guys have wanted more sex than usual since they have three women right here, which is a good thing, but at inconvenient times.

Most clubs, house parties, group gatherings and lifestyle events/activities have been on hold and most likely will remain so for some time to come.  
 

pockets of intimate closed groups (another variation of endless possibilities in this lifestyle) and poly fams/groups have remained just like extended families.

 

for most involved this is a wonderful added extra, sex play as an Extracurricular activity and not a requirement for survival (yeah really, although some would argue different) are making the best of their time at home with their partner.....and if like us.....being adventurous with each other.

 

there are many ways that you and your partner(s) can expand and enjoy each other away from the party atmosphere by duplicating and adding many of the same activities at home.  Mindset, imagination, toys, activities, virtual inclusion via Private Video/Face time.  Still set aside planned time, prepare, set up ambiance, be playful, experiment and be adventurous.

 

the social part of the lifestyle will come back without question.  Most every location, house party, activity, gathering will survive and be there later.  Some commercial/club premises locations will be harder hit and a few might succumb to an economic demise.....but very few if any.

 

this lifestyle is all about people.......and that alone will keep it going.

I would guess that very few survive and any revival will be long in the future. If it is a stand alone club...I doubt they have the money to sustain a business that is probably already operating with a low profit margin. A club that is associated with a resort might survive while being sustained from hotel rooms and typical resort activities. We know a board member for a lifestyle club that holds events and in their attempt to establish, with funding, an on-premise club, the finances did not support, on a good day,  unless the property was zoned as a non-profit and could be operated as an private club organization, not a commercial business. 

 

I also suspect that some of these clubs are hobby clubs supported by wealthy lifestyle owners and there are other sources of income. I have seen strip clubs in the news and being raided because they were fronts for other business or laundering money.
