What does this Swinglifestyle symbol mean?

What does this little white person-and-plus-sign symbol mean? I see it in some of the images that appear under the heading "People Who Have Viewed Me".

I think it is an invitation to open a "friend" relationship. We will try to do that with/for you. Hang on.

I received your invitation to be included as an SLS friend and, of course, approved it. But I have received no similar requests from the dozens (possibly hundreds) of other profiles that show this mysterious symbol.

Maybe it means you can be their friend. That explains why thousands have it. I think they are mucking up SLS, but I am one who is resistant to change.

I accidentally hit it the other day and received a msg a bit later saying so and so accepted your friend request. Soooo I am building a friends network list that I have never seen. I think I also confused it with favorites list a couple times ?.

That little image is a link within the picture link.  Click outside of it and it will take you to the profile but click on the image with the + symbol, it will send a friend request to that user.  I actually get prompted, asking if I want to send the friend request, then I say no and it goes away but, the friend request is for some new "unknown" future features that are supposed to come in handy** soon.  Not sure what those features are going to be but stay tuned, lol.  So far, we have turned them all down because we are not sure if it is going to be some social media thing like collecting friends on facebook/twitter/snapchat, etc.

 

I'm personally not on SLS to collect friends so until I know why it is there, what it will provide, ignore is the rule of the day for us.
