Wanted to gauge the room to get peoples option about hair in the lower regions. As long as I can remember I have been clean shaving from my chin down (arms, chest, front and back areas)  but I leave my lower legs alone from a little above my knees.
 

  The Mrs like it and I love the feeling of being freshly shaven. I do remember I was toying with this idea of going to local gym and second thought the shower portion and how is walking around completely bare going to be perceived also for my annual physical same thing. I know there is no normal or right answer. 
 

 How is your pubic region and do you notice any reactions or feel uncomfortable in certain situations

Many of the guys in our group are completely shaved, chest, back and below the waist. I’m trying to think if legs and arms are shaved too. Then there are those who manscape by trimming but are not bare. In our group very few guys are bushy bushy. I can’t answer how they feel going to a checkup or gym shower. 

Guys I had been with before had been both shaved and not. I had a boyfriend in HS who thought he looked bigger when he shaved bare. We had some laughs about that. 

Below the waist trimming might be a generational thing.  

 

Now I usually fully shave when going to a party and I normally will fully shave if I am going for a physical. My current doctor is female and she doesn’t mention anything about my grooming. 

I think most women my age have grown up womenscaping one way or another.

Sigh.....it really IS a generational thing. During the 60's I remember the 'older' women talking about the new neighbor lady who didn't <gasp> shave her legs or even worse her armpits! The rumors abounded. For sure she was a drug addict and had loose morals.   It doesn't make any difference to us. Although I really hate razor stubble. LoL the current trend is to shave. And we do if we are going to a LS event. But it's a hassle the older you get. I have never shaved anything but the groin area. It would take a chainsaw to cut the rest. At clubs many times the question is do you shave? Not are you interested or what are you into? Just a quick question " Um do you guys shave... you know down there? Cause we don't like HAIR!". My wife and I have been fully shaved in our pubic areas for many years. We are longterm nudists and have found that the norm for men and women is to be fully shaved. And that's for people who are not swingers too. For us, it just feels so much more comfortable and clean.

I (male) do shave below. My balls clean (every couple of days) and serious trim to area above. I also trim chest as I like to look of less hair. I struggle with the growing back (chest) which can be less than perfect, but my routine isn't consistent enough I guess.

 

Wife likes it so I continue. Yes, I actually asked her, do you want me to keep shaving?

 

Gym: I was at the gym and I was shaving my balls when a gentleman walked by, turned to me and said "be careful, you don't want to cut yourself".  Otherwise, I've never had a comment or a sideways glance.

I don't have much body hair but I do shave below the waist and so does my wife. We have been doing that for many years. We have played with two guys. One was our best friend and has shaved for as long as we have. The other is a man we met through him many years ago and started playing with a few years ago. He has started shaving too. We are also very longterm nudists and shaving belong the waist seems to be the norm these days. I must say I do like it.

 

By the way, my wife also cuts the hair on my head and has done so since the early 1970s.

Our experience is that those below 50 are shaved. Men are neatly trimmed with shaved balls. Women are shaved or have a small landing strip. That's our experience anyway.

 

For us, we're shaved. We prefer at least well trimmed in those we play with.

We are a younger couple and my GF is almost always clean shaven down there with some rare exceptions when someone requests she grows out her pubic hair.  I usually just keep mine trimmed.  Pretty much all of the women I/we have had sex with were clean shaven.  With the guys it's a bit more mixed.  We have seen guys that were completely bald down there to some that had a full bush.

The women in our family keep our pubic areas constantly trimmed to varying degrees: me the least, Clair the most.  The guys just sort of just weedwhack back theirs every so often.  Elsewhere the guys do nothing.  Among we women I am the anomaly - at the request of hubby and Lora I will let the hair elsewhere on my body grow sometimes, especially under my arms.  My bush would grow pretty full if I let it, but not much grows elsewhere and it's soft.   For whatever reason they like playing in it sometimes.

I (Mr) prefer a woman to be mostly shaved and have observed this is the standard during our play (sometimes a landing strip but pretty much shaved.

 

For the men, I've noticed the men are usually clean shaven. I have noticed a few have the field above trimmed short but most have been shaved clean. I've noticed that balls are always shaved.

 

I'm not a hairy guy in general but I shave the balls 2-3 times a week. The Mrs prefers them shaved. The field above, I prefer it clean shaven, the Mrs doesn't care but prefers it trimmed. I used to just trim it because when I shave the field I get major itching and ingrown hairs. I switched to removal creams for that area. I've experimented with them all, various amount of time for each, and have it down. If you try this method...DO NOT use it on the balls. The skin is way too sensitive. 

 

I prefer my chest trimmed (shaving leads to itching and ingrown hairs on my chest as well). The chemicals don't work well on my chest so I just trim it.
