cplnluv1 872 Posted June 27, 2020 We are meeting a couple we have been with before. It was before this Covid problem put a halt to most play in the lifestyle. When we normally play, oral sex is a major activity, and extremely important amongst the women. When we started it was the main reason, I wanted to watch. We have been safe during our lock down, the couple we are meeting told us they played with another couple once. None of us have any symptoms of the virus. We are fully aware we could be asymptomatic. We discussed kissing as most likely thing to try to avoid. With looking up oral sex and virus I read that semen does not carry the virus. Not much written about vaginal fluids. I am more concerned about my wife as she might be more at risk swallowing both fluids. I know we will have a great time sexually if I could get the fear out of my head. We know there are always risks even without this virus. The couple we are meeting are like us, nervous and cautious. Quote Share this post Link to post
Jane1902 476 Posted June 27, 2020 Even without kissing you would be in the same social bubble, still close contact. I read an article that said the virus was detected in semen. Is it possible to get tested? Quote Share this post Link to post
cplnluv1 872 Posted June 27, 2020 I read an article that said a glory hole was safe, not that we are going to a glory hole. We know it’s a respiratory virus and droplets from the mouth and nose can spread the virus. The article said analingus should be avoided as poop can contain the virus. I don’t think genital sex is the problem. It also said sex in positions where you are not facing is safer. Both women enjoy oral sex, and I do as well. Can we be tested? Yes, not before our meeting. We both enjoy their company and the time we were with them and we are excited to enjoy like we did before. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post

A hard dick has no conscience, what you are saying is you don't care if you spread it. I am more concerned about the asymptomatic people spreading it to anyone actually. 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
adamgunn 1,460 Posted June 27, 2020 The only way to be safe is to stay six feet away from other people, wear a mask whenever you aren't in your bubble. There is no way you can be safe from CV if you swing. 2 Quote Share this post Link to post
Baconheads 432 Posted July 1, 2020 What's being said now is that asymptomatic transmission of the disease is rare. It comes from sneezing and coughing just like any other cold. Quote Share this post Link to post

Everything with swinging comes with some risk, so as always it comes down to risk assessment and what your tolerance level of that is. Nowhere near an expert an anything related to this, but I can't think of a much better way to transmit or catch a respiratory disease than sex. Take away the kissing (which would be a dealkiller for us right there), then think about the typical sexual encounter - enclosed space, man on top of woman, missionary, face to face, he's panting and breathing hard, she's panting and breathing hard, and this goes on for a while. Seems to me you almost couldn't come up with a better way of transmission if you tried. There's a huge IF there though, that only matters if one of them has it...which leads us right back to level of risk. I guess you could dream up ways you hoped would reduce to some degree the risk, like no oral, doggie style or reverse cowgirl only, both be masked, etc. But for us it would be like the no kissing thing, when you start taking pieces away, pretty soon the whole thing falls apart and it's just not worth the trouble anymore. 5 Quote Share this post Link to post
njbm 2,880 Posted July 1, 2020 We are not swinging due to corona virus. YMMV. 2 Quote Share this post Link to post

udsarge 119 Posted September 11, 2020 you may also try to modify your sexual positions as to minimize face to face contact..think doggie 1 Quote Share this post Link to post
MrMrsswinger 205 Posted September 11, 2020 I'll throw my two cents in here. I'm certain to get a lot of angry responses here from people on the opposite side of the discussion. If you want to ensure that you don't have Covid you have to get tested. Given the incubation period from infection to a positive test, you should get tested twice, a few days apart...e.g. get tested on Monday, hunker down until Friday and get tested again. Make sure you get tested at a location where they use the more reliable test. There are some tests that has a false negative rate of nearly 30%. Other tests have an accuracy rate of 97%. This isn't a guarantee that you don't have it since, in theory, you could have picked it up after the first test and not show when you test on Friday. If you want to swing, you should have the other couple do the same thing. With that said, I would recommend looking at what demographic you fall into. The fear baked into the virus is unbelievable. Yes, the virus is easily transmitted. No, the virus is not some sort of super virus that kills at some unprecedented rate. The statistics don't support the fear rhetoric. Locking down the whole economy has destroyed businesses, caused health issues we'll learn about in a year or two (delayed diagnostic tests, delayed starting of treatment, delayed surgeries, etc), run up debts at the city, county, state and federal level that will be felt for decades by taxpayers, set student education back, etc. Go talk to people who are in the medical billing field, especially those who deal with Medicare billing, and you'll learn some eye-opening things. I used to be in that line of work and have spoken with nearly a dozen former colleagues who remain. Do your own analysis as to where you fall in the stats and make your own decision. I read some responses where people aren't swinging because of Covid and others looking for stay within their circle of friends. To each their own. 2 1 Quote Share this post Link to post

I'd be super interested, generally speaking not looking to start a discussion, in what 'eye-opening things' you're referring to. Quote Share this post Link to post
hunterdonNJcpl 1,393 Posted September 11, 2020 we're glad to see that CV is something that's being openly discussed in this forum. We belong to another swinger site where any mention of it starts a flame war that winds up with the whole post getting deleted. We're glad people here have the common sense to talk openly and responsibly about a situation that drastically affects our community! We had a small circle to begin with, but now our circle includes exactly one other person besides us so he is it for the foreseeable future. We think it's a good idea to get tested, pair up with another single or couple who has also been tested, and keep the bodily fluids between yourselves. Quote Share this post Link to post

So according to the mayo clinic the virus IS PRESENT IN SEMEN, however the quantities are so low it is not likely to be enough exposure to infect anyone, so she'd have to swallow a lot of cum for that to be an issue. My concern would be if the other partner is infected and breathing the virus out, she is in close contact for way more than 10 minutes and that is more than enough exposure to catch the virus. Play safe, and wear masks babe! Quote Share this post Link to post
lcmim 1,082 Posted November 20, 2020 There might be a whole product line here. Masks designed to facilitate oral sex . Perhaps a membrane that stretches open for a penis or tongue the recloses when finished?? Quote Share this post Link to post

lcmim 1,082 Posted November 20, 2020 Marketing marketing marketing. besides a condom does not settle the masked or unmasked issue. This is just made for late night TV advertising right after Flex Seal. 2 Quote Share this post Link to post
