Like MrMrsswinger said - expect people not to show up if you go the internet route.  If you're going to go the strangers route it might be better to just go to a club.  We've gone to couple several times where you can have a gangbang in one of the rooms.  I prefer inviting people I know who will show up but that's our preference.  The best ones were destination gangbangs where we'd invite a bunch of friends to come away for the weekend and we would have a gangbang at the hotel.

I agree to keeping the participants' number low to around 3-6 only to start with.   My first try was with only 3 guys and they were my SO's pick.  Let the SO invite, filter or screen the participants.  It is better to ask them for suggestions to make the play interesting, like scenarios they would wish.  Involving the participants in the planning would make the experience more fun and memorable, instead of each one just wanting to get off at your wife the soonest.  Being invited by the SO from his pool of friends (or former swing partners) would also make them respectful of the rules (I'm not into humiliation too), compared to random strangers.

Similar to us.  I am not into humiliation but GF loves it.  In those scenarios it's important to understand her rules prior to a ganbang and be their to supervise.  Once the guys know the woman is into being dominated and humiliated they can take that as a sign to do whatever they like and things can escalate quickly.
