Your dream swinger playhouse?

It’s time to fantasize, folk! What would you do if you could build a playhouse from scratch?

 

Here’s the assumptions. You own a 1/2 acre plot out in the woods, with utility connections. The land is in a climate where there are four seasons. You do not wish to live in this house, you are building it solely for having your swinger friends over. You have a reasonable budget, but let’s not make the toilet out of pure gold. Don’t worry about zoning laws, we know the local board of planning.

 

So, how would you build it? What facilities would you put in it?

I love this type of prompt... 

So first, some goals:

1. Ease of coming and going

2. Privacy on demand, but easy access to group facility

3. Nondescript from exterior view

4. Scalable, so that it didn't feel "empty" with just a few people, but could also accommodate a larger group  

 

I think the traditional Mexican Hacienda layout would work well for this. That would be a larger "main house", with several attached facilities that could be like apartments, all serving into a common courtyard. The whole assembly being roughly rectangular. From the outside, this could be built to look very mundane, possibly even looking like a warehouse or something. The "main house" would be where I'd put the common area stuff, definitely including a hot tub and possibly sauna, definitely a large kitchen and dining facility, and also a large "living room" sort of casual gathering area. Each "apartment" would be essentially like a long-stay hotel. The courtyard would have some grassy area, possibly a small pool, definitely a fire pit and BBQ area. 

 

With a little planning, the courtyard area could be shielded from the more severe weather, making it a comfortable gathering area for all but the worst conditions. With each apartment offering privacy, and the main house offering plenty of space, everyone would be able to find the best setting for the moment.

1/2 arce...too small for us. We are actually looking for someplace similar (but at least 10 acres) in the mountains. Hopefully where it occasionally snows (but not too much). Log cabin style, hot tub is a must, big stone fireplace, loft full of mattresses, two or three bedrooms...oh, and maybe a dungeon set up for restraints. Once we find/build a place Ms. Gold keeps saying that she wants to open it up as a club or swinger bed and breakfast. I keep telling her that one should never make their hobby into a job, it takes the fun out of it when it becomes something that you HAVE to do no matter what the 'guest' are like.
