it’s a pretty interesting story. Giuliani explains why dating couples works well for her. And she has a link to a site that facilitates singles finding couples and vice versa.

Interesting, I'll need to read the original article.  This sounds like my wife, who prefers FFMs both with and as a married couple.  These are two totally different roles for her (as a third for a married couple and having another woman join us) with different dynamics, but satisfying both her hetero and Lesbian needs.

Obviously we don't think a woman choosing an alt lifestyle as a Unicorn is bad, but it kind of sucks that it has to be made public.

There are two aspects to this revelation. First, it's distressing that anyone has to feel that their preferences need to be fodder for magazine articles. Second, when celebrities publicly acknowledge and embrace alternate lifestyles that are based on love and respect, everyone benefits. 

 

Regardless of her agenda and rationale for granting the interview to Vanity Fair, and regardless of Vanity Fair's rationale for publishing the piece, we all benefit when such life styles can be openly discussed. Sexuality is so foundational to human life that we should hope such conversation becomes not only mainstream but ordinary. 

 

One hopes that Mr. Giuliani is proud of his daughter not only for who she is, but also for her courage in openly acknowledging her preferences.

I get it but I feel like there has been such a shitshow circus encircling Rudy Giuliani lately that this will be used to further paint him and his as total nut jobs.

I can relate, although in my case it is moving between the men and women in our family that I find satisfying.  The thought of loving a man who loves another woman and of loving her too is... fulfilling.

I think it was her choice to publicize it. Credit for bravery. Maybe it is a more acceptable choice in her age group. We are older, so maybe we are out of touch with what is broadly acceptable. A friend of mine used to say some people are with it, some people are without it.
