Post Vaccine Plans

Recommended Posts

Good for you! We know many who refuse to take it and we are too young to qualify. We are low risk and just wish everyone would just shut up and get the fukin shot. We know friends who had gotten sick and got over it. I call it lucky.

I heard younger people have bad side effects from the shot, did you.

Let us know how your experiment works out. I presume that four people who are more than two weeks past their second shot should be ok. You’ll find out! Avoid the variants!

I don’t think we are experimenting, we are following the science. As per the CDC the risk falls on those that haven’t been vaccinated. Nothing is 100% safe in swinging such as stds or the transference of many other viruses, bacterial diseases and let’s not forget HIV.

Possibly we should wear masks for safety?

You call it lucky that they got sick and got over it? Tens of millions of lucky people in America, including me and about a dozen friends.

I think we all can agree that the pandemic has been a disaster.

I was being light about it. If four vaccinated people are playing, it sounds permissible to me. But I am not a virologist. But I am very cautious.

Yes, luckier than the over 500,000 who died and the millions of families who are  grieving that there is an empty seat at the table, an empty side of a bed, a grandparent’s hug. Luckier than the people who are still living with medical problems caused by a virus we are still learning how it affects the heart, the lungs and your thinking.

I’m happy you and your friends recovered and I grieve for the friends we lost.

Cancer, heart attacks, and other diseases have almost disappeared since Covid arrived. I guess that means that they're cured as well, especially since almost noone is dying from them anymore. Just check the death certs...covid is no. 1 cause of death.

Being serious for a minute here. My father dies last November from cancer. He was diagnosed with it before Covid arrived and lived longer than he was expected to live. Still, the doctors wanted to list Covid as cause of death since when he died he was having difficulty breathing. We had to fight the doctors to get the cause of death as cancer.

Was he positive for covid? Maybe the doctors thought the inability to breathe from covid was the proximate cause. We are sorry for your loss. My wife’s father passed away in December, 2020 and we regret that we did not get to see him much in his last year.
