Help Finding a meet and greet (newbies)

The wife and I are planning a vacation to Hawaii, and one if the thing to the agenda is to attend a meet and greet. Our intention is to meet people in the lifestyle and learn and ask questions. 

 

However, I have done some research online and I am running into dead ends. Even when I try to look into meet and greets around San Diego, CA. I haven't found anything 😕. 

 

Any help will be appreciated.
