Swinging in NYC - looking for ideas

Hi,

We are a couple from Switzerland, will be in NYC in April and wanted to discover the swinging scene in the city.

we have about 10 years experience but haven’t done any since COVID. So we would like to take it slow. Meet people before eventually going to a club, the human contact is really important for us. 
we are 45 and 54, we take care of ourselves, looking for like-minded people in our age-range.

are there any bars/places that are open minded when we could meet people?

This reply may be a little late to be helpful (you mentioned April) but if you find yourself headed back that way, the wife and I attended a party at a club in DUMBO, Brooklyn, called "The Loft" a few weeks ago and had a good time.  Was cleaner and less seedy than most of the clubs we've been to.  Nice floor for dancing, places to sit and talk, and a pretty bit play area that had a couple private spaces and a big open space with multiple beds.  

 

We were at a hosted party, so I can't speak to the typical crowd, but the couples and unicorns there when we attended were well above average in the looks department.
