Among most European countries concerning Sexual Culture, Switzerland is not considered an erotic destination. How sadly since it has a long tradition to erotic culture but a very conservative approach to advertise it: it does not. And this is good.

 

Swinger Clubs exists since at least 90s and swinging, fetishism were always there if you knew the players (erotic parties became known before World War 1!).

 

Today the following clubs are available for Couples. Parties for Singles are restricted to very few occassions. I cover here only the most important places.

 

Clothing: some clubs require erotic underwear and they offer lockers for changing clothes.

 

Cleaness: all the Swiss clubs and the Swiss people are famous for their cleaness. However common sense is not common sense among foreigners. A sauna is not a place for sex and if this happen tell them to get out.

 

Language: In all clubs the personel can speak English. However, the communities (Kantons) have their own languages which are French and, or German (there are two more languages, Italian and Romansch that are very small communities). Most of the Swiss can hold a conversation in English. Erotic approach: You should speak with the people about your preferences. In this issue they are the most open minded in Europe, but a NO is  a NO.

 

Prices: Expect in some clubs above 150 USD. However a meal might be offered with the price as well as some non-alcoholic drinks. Some clubs have lower prices but you pay all drinks.
