How do you prepare for a date?

What traditions do you have when you are going out on a date that you hope will have a great outcome?

 

I'll start: My wife Mary and I had a fairly standard methodology of preparation for the ever important ‘first’ date.

 

A couple of hours before we were to meet them or him, we’d go into the bathroom and she’d start by stripping, jumping into the shower and wash her hair. That would be followed by me soaping her up, then it came time to shave. I’d make sure her armpits and legs were nice and smooth, then we’d tackle her pubic hair. the hair above the kitty would be trimmed in any way our fancy took us (landing strip, pattern or bare) depending on our whim, but the outer lips were always completely shaved. Mary had found out that if there is no hair between her legs, she had a much better feeling while she was screwing.

 

All during this time, we’d be talking about what we were thinking about the couple or guy (we always had a phone call with them before the first meet,) and if either of us had any special ideas for the night. We’d both be thinking that the new man was going to touch this and put his prick there, and if it was a couple what I might do with the new woman; it was delicious.

 

Then Mary would dry her hair and do her makeup, then come into the bedroom where we’d pick her outfit out for the gentleman. Very good question Adam. We discussed so many things before going to our first date even shopping for new clothes. 
There was no choice as to grooming for me and I’m sure most my age. I wax on a regular basis and did a cleaner waxing for our first meeting. My husband usually shaves frequently just this time I waxed him too. I found out after the meeting our date went the full Brazilian and he just shaved clean. I thought about not wearing anything under my dress after modeling a dozen choices in front of a mirror then we decided on a cute lacy bikini with matching bra. How did I prepare for this date? Not much differently from my normal day to day cleaning. An extra toothbrushing and minty mouthwash. We bought a Costco sized box of condoms that never got used, my pack of wipes, and mints. 
I know there are many older members here, is it generational grooming. My mom is in her 50’s and I know she has a wax warmer that she uses just not sure if it’s for full waxing.

Do people change hygiene routines for swinging. We both bathe everyday as we expect everyone does. The main extra for me is shaving clean including the sack before meeting, something I don’t always do.
