Overall I would rate the hotel with an A+ and the actual event with a C+. I feel pretty confident that Jason is going to be doing a lot of work in the coming year to fix a lot of things. So if you are considering this for next year, I would say go, as it will be a better event. We will not go to another one if it is at the same place because we would like a variety of venues. We say that even though they are offering this year’s attendees a 20% discount on next year’s event. On a personal note. We met a lot of really nice people, mainly at Bar Su and just visiting in the lobby and pool areas. It was great to be in a hotel like this and know that everyone there is in the lifestyle in one form or another. It was also educational to see so many people from so many areas in one place. We were taught dress to impress when going to an event and packed accordingly. The ladies for the most part, as should be expected, planned for this event and were very well dressed. The guys, well, it didn’t impress us to have a lady dressed to the nines next to a guy in Bermuda shorts, flip flops, and a Harley Davidson t-shirt, which I hate to say, was the majority of the guys. For us, the parties were a waste of time as the people we had met we could not find in the crowd, and if we had, the music was too loud to visit and get to know each other better. There was no play time for us this weekend. Don’t get us wrong, we did have a good time as we went down there with no expectations, which I strongly suggest that you do as well. If you go down with high expectations you are going to be disappointed. Well, that is our view as a single couple going down without knowing anyone in advance. I’m sure that the folks that went down as a group that knew others had a better experience than we did. Hell, from all the partying going on till the wee hours of the night, I know that they did! But then we are older and not as used to diving into a party like this.

I voted no. 1) You'd have to be tested within 30 days for every visit, which means even the first visit. How would you know whether the club was worth that additional expense 'till you've tried it out? 2) Would the club do the tests in-house, or would you have to (or be allowed to) have the tests done elsewhere? 3) Even supposing outside test results were accepted and accurate, that's a lot of people handling my personal medical information. 4) Even supposing in-house test results were accurate, that's STILL a lot of people handling my personal medical information. And quite possibly a HIPAA violation in there somewhere. 5) Tests, even if accurate, are only good for the day they're taken. While the going theory is that folks who test regularly are less likely to have any STD's, it's still just that--a theory 6) Are people who test positive going to be turned away? Can we say privacy laws, discrimination, and legal nightmare? 7) What about the legal liabilities of someone claiming that they felt "safer" going to that club (ie implied guarantee) because of the testing policy and they contract an STD and sue? No, thanks. I know the risks, and Mr. Sweet and I will make our own decisions about them.

IMHO, it's not just "marginaly homosexual" or "incidental contact", it's GAY. It's so gay it even has a name, frottage. It means "rubbing," rubbing weiners, in this case. If you Google frottage, it will take you to mostly gay websites. "Back in the day" when most homosexual activity was against the law, cops could arrest guys just for rubbing their genitals. It's what they used to make arrests when they busted gay bars. They didn't have to see penetration of any kind, just 2 guys (or gals) dancing and rubbing against each other. If rubbing another mans weiner is what gets you off, that's fine. If doing it inside a woman's pussy makes you feel straight, that's fine too. But let's call it for what it is, OK? An excuse to force-hump another guy.
