Much thanks to everyone who has invested time in this discussion. I personally have learned a lot from this discussion. Chicup, Bi4Me2, and Lacivious all bring up some excellent points in this discussion. Chicup is clearly a dedicated professional who has gone above and beyond in discussion this issue from the perspective of his medical and biological training. Mrs. Bi4Me2 has clearly had some personal experiences that have influenced that couples opinions of the validity of "squirting" and medical professionals in general. I'm happy to hear about your positive experience and sad to hear about the negative experiences. This discussion is colored by personal experience, a dearth of quality academic research, and the pornofication of female ejaculation. In trying to find more answers I dug a little deeper and found the following: Female ejaculation - wikidoc Skene's gland - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Female ejaculation - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Based on the information in these links I make the following hypothesis... Female Ejaculation describes an expulsion of fluid from the urethra in volumes less than 35 ml (about 8 teaspoons). The fluid is significantly different from urine to clearly not be urine, however in the course of a very strong orgasm it may be mixed with urine that is expelled simultaneously to female ejaculation. There is some indication that the Skene's Gland can refill rapidly (in minutes not seconds) so one my be able to experience multiple instances of female ejaculation during a sufficiently long sex session. Squirting describes the pornofication of Female Ejaculation. By pornofiication I mean taking the phenomena of female ejaculation and making it more grandiose for benefit of the camera. Squirting describes an expulsion of fluid from the urethra but in volumes greater than 35 ml. The fluid is mostly urine but will likely include female ejaculation fluid. Since most of this fluid comes from the bladder is it most likely to experience only one large expulsion of fluid. I think this covers it. There is some controversy surrounding this and related topics. it's very important to make sure we don't spread false information or give the impression that you're dysfunctional if you can't have a female ejaculation. However, it's just as important to not dismiss the experiences of those who say something real is going on or to shame or embarrass them for an orgasm that is a little messier regardless of the exact origin. it's important to remember that inconclusive studies are not proof of the lack of existence. Furthermore, it's important to remember that anecdotal evidence while not scientific cannot be dismissed wholesale. I'll point to the extreme case of Persistent Genital Arousal Disorder Persistent Genital Arousal Disorder - Wikipedia. From a documentary on the Discovery Health Channel women reported being met by physicians with skepticism, dismissal (it's all in your head), or outright disrespect (your husband/boyfriend must be VERY *wink* lucky). In closing, Female Ejaculation is different and distinct from Squirting. Female Ejaculate is different and distinct from urine. The pornofication of this phenomena has caused considerable confusion. Not all women appear to have same development of the Skene's gland, from microscopic to very developed. Finally, the fact that we are talking about a gland/spot that is in the vagina and is reported to only be engorged/sensitive when the woman is highly aroused, making clinical inquiry quite challenging. I've rambled on long enough. Have a good one.

Women getting 'wet' is a rather obvious function of sexual activity and I've been with women so turned on 'wet' doesn't quite cover it. That fluid getting mixed with the urine is quite understandable and some of it may come from glands in the urethra. That I think would account for the differences.

Well I'll tell you what. There is no way I would open myself up to the medical community. Beside the example my husband gave (which is 100% true) I have also had a OB/GYN tell me that my 3 miscarriages had nothing to do with my thyroid dysfunction, only to read in every medical book that it is one of the top causes. Then to have him look me in the eye and tell me that I could have a miscarriage every month and not know it. Nice going doc, glad I looked to you for advice. There are many other personal examples I could give you as to why I don't trust/believe anyone with a MD, DO, PHD or the like following their name. Yeah these are the people that I want going over my body trying to figure out what I already know and what others will never believe even with scientific proof. Maybe if Kinsey was still around I would say yes or even someone of his nature/reputation, but as it stands now, there is no way, period.

Chicup has done a wonderfully patient job of explaining squirting from a biologic point of view. Anger has nothing to do with what squirting is. Nor does attitude toward doctors. The confusion here is that squirting is not one thing, as has been pointed out numerous times in this thread. Most of the posts have dealt with copious squirts, those with a lot of fluid, as in cups to a quart, as well as a lot over time, repeated squirts. These come from the urethra, as anyone who observes closely can see. By the way this male writes alongside his wife, who squirts, and she has made it very clear that she knows her squirts, large ones, are pee. There simply is no other place that produces this quantity of liquid exiting the urethra other than the bladder. Urine is often clear, doesn't have a lot of taste, and sometimes is sweet. It is constantly produced so can be squirted repeatedly, no matter whether the bladder has been "emptied." Orgasms can expell urine from the bladder more effectively than urinating can. The other type of squirt, teaspoons or so, are different. Those tests online are of this type of squirt, so of course it doesn't test as urine. Then this type is confused with the soak the bed type. We males don't ejaculate cups of semen. Peter North may squirt a tablespoon or so, but most of us squirt in the teaspoon range. This smaller quantity of squirt often comes from the vagina and likely is the lubricating fluid of the vagina. Orgasms can as effectively expell the lubricant from the vagina as it can from the bladder, but there is far less of it. Confusing these two types of squirt is one of the main confusions about squirts. Most of the posts in this thread have been about the soak the bed type of squirts. Getting angry over this subject means you have an emotional investment in what you believe. Unfortunately anger has nothing to do with whether what you believe is correct.

It's obviously impossible to predict what Jesus would say about swinging. Our society and culture are so radically different from anything he knew. But he seemed to by much more offended by hypocrisy than by sex. My guess is that his advise to swingers would simply be to treat everyone with very great kindness and compassion. And while I am not a Christian, that seems like good advise to me.

(him) Well I'll tell you what. When you have a woman literally blow you out of her vagina when she squirts then we will talk. Until then you are speculating. While my wife might be a bit perturbed by some of the responses here, and while she might get a bit hostile towards doctors that seem to think they know it all (for good reason ... but for another thread) I have personally experienced this with her for damn near 15 years now and here's my take on it: 1. Without a doubt it comes from within her vagina, no doubt in my mind 2. The 'flavor' of it is 'sweet' and the color is 100% clear 3. She can't do it when she is dehydrated ... just doesn't work 4. Again, on those odd times where I was able to make it happen by fucking her (it is very difficult and usually only happens when we use our sex swing) she has either 'squirted' around my penis or on the explosive ones pushed me completely out. 5. 9 times out of 10 I am 'down there' when she squirts, a perfect 'view' and more than not my fingers are inside her ... it comes from her vagina, no ifs ands or buts. Oh and sorry 'mr doctor', you haven't a chance arguing with her. You can thank your fellow physicians for that. Like the idiot doctors that told her for years her 'fainting' was 'all in her head' only to finally have a chiropractor realize (first visit) her thyroid was 'dead' .... sorry but I have seen what quack doctors have done to my wife and her anger is very justified. She is mad at doctors and for a very good reason. Maybe some day the male dominated medical profession will get their heads out of their asses and actually take the time to figure out the female body and all its wonders ... but I doubt it
