All I would say is be really sure about it and the guys you do it with. We started doing it and ended up having a pretty bad expereince.

If you stay with your original dates, we'll overlap with you! We'll be there 10/14-10/22. Maybe we'll see you in the hot tub! Last year, we specifically avoided groups. We were total newbies and didn't want it to be overwhelming. Friends of ours had been there several months before with a very large group and they didn't care for it--even though they'd been in the lifestyle for some time, they felt the group took over the resort and was kind of cliquey. This year, there is a group going the same week we are, but a small group. They call themselves the Week 43 group and their official dates are 10/15-10/22. We aren't specifically a part of that group, but I just joined their Yahoo group yesterday, so we can "meet" some of the people ahead and get a better feel for the dynamics of the group. We are also traveling with friends; at least 3 or 4 other couples, some in the lifestyle and some just nudists. You'll love it whatever you decide!

Hey all, Mr. here, first thank you for all the replies. Second, after reading this thread and contacting Castaways Travel and the Mrs. talking to the State Dept. we are in for a Desire vacation in either Oct or Nov. Here's the next question: In y'alls opinion would it be "better" for us to go on a "group week" or just go whenever? Our vacation is (as of now) Oct 7-15; however, there is a group (Aahz, I think) going Nov 5-12. We're still in the talking stage about "jumping in the LS" so, again, in y'alls opinion what would you suggest? I'm thinking that the group would be better: more people, more happening, more "choices", etc, if we should choose to partake in the festivities.

Hoosier......I wouldn't be heading to Mexico right now either. Although they say Cancun is safe, they also said that about Acapulco before the 8 taxi drivers were murdered a few weeks ago There's no way I'd spend my money in a country whose government would allow the drug wars to explode the way they have....let alone berate us for not opening our borders to there fleeing citizens. So, if I were you, I'd check into Caliente Caribe in the Dominican Republic, Mi-Amor in Costa Rica or other clothing optional resorts. We use travel brokers like Castaways Travel or Shoes Only Travel that specialize in nude or swinger friendly resorts/trips. They also set up nude takeovers of regular resorts. That's how we were able to hang out nekkid at a resort in Curacao a couple Winters ago and how we plan on hanging out nekkid on a Mediterranean windstar cruise next Summer There are plenty of options out there that won't have you worrying about being murdered on your vacation Good luck in your search. Hoosier - T-Rex is right about Dixie's Splash. We were there in October also and that is where we did our first full swap. We were approached by several other couples. Granted there were a few morons but overall it was a fantastic experience and you didn't have to leave the States. As for traveling to Mexico we have been to Desire four times. It is really safe. Most lifestyle travel agents will arrange transportation to and from the airport. The resort is all inclusive so you never have to leave it. You can take a taxi to the small village of Puerto Morelos, which is a very nice place. We haven't been to Hedo so can't give any recommendations. Sweet TNA - it would be great if you could give all of us your impression of Temptations, we were thinking of giving that place a try because it is a bit cheaper than Desire but it is open to singles.

There is also "Dixie's Spring 2011 Splash Party" in Orlando in May. We went last October...oh my! People are there to fuck, no doubt about it. You could make a week out of it. Go to the party for 3 days, then on the front or back end drive to/from Caliente or maybe Ft. Lauderdale where you can spend your nights at Trapeze.
