Most of the responses in this thread are by people who wish to keep their lifestyle secret from their kids. When I was growing up, my brother and I knew that our parents were swingers, as they were open about it. Sometimes they would invite their lifestyle friends over and those friends would bring their kids who were close to our age. My brother and I would usually go to our room with the other kids to watch TV or just mess around like all kids do. Our parents were in another part of the house, either in their bedroom or the family room doing what swingers do. It was never an issue.

We are still fairly new to the LS, and decided to do start out with same room. We may be open to separate room in the future, but for now it is what we prefer. Our reason is mainly because we enjoy sharing the experience together. But for me, I like the comfort of having my husband with me because I do tend to get nervous especially with a new couple. It is a little strange playing with someone other than my spouse since he had been my only partner for over 15 years. I also enjoy the girl/girl play which requires same room.

Not to be so forward but I'd like to offer a critique - this attitude would not be appreciated by us. We want those who join us to be looking for an erotic experience and not just sex. I figure most guys can get laid by going out to a singles bar, but it takes a certain kind of attitude to really enjoy the eroticism of a threesome.
