Sorry, but I have to respectfully disagree here. An "I like pie" post can be just as informative as any other post, it all depends in the replies and where the conversation goes.
"I like pie."
"Me too!" (Posts times 4) then...
"Awesome! What's your favorite crust recipe?"
"Blah blah blah and I also like blah blah fillings."
"Omg! I never thought of doing it that way! Thanks for the tip!"
Etc.
Simply saying "pie is gross" adds nothing to the conversation as well as possibly putting off the pie loving contributors.
I will agree that making an original post with questions, concerns, or specific experiences could help fuel the conversation, but I don't think "I like...." posts are useless affirmation seekers, especially when talking about something a little less out of the mainstream than pie. Just my 2cents.
Ps. I'm down with rimming. I, of course, love receiving. But I know hubby loves receiving also and I am getting more comfortable with that. I don't know if my comfort level would ever increase to trying it with pkay partners, but I am enjoying lwarning more about anal play with hubs.
As far as hygiene, I agree that the area is a lot easier cleaned and maintained than some would assume. I have gotten some great tips from my gay bffs.
