First of all, in case you have already met in person, there is still the chance that there might not be a connection for everyone. If that is the case, have something set up where you both know that the other person isn't interested (just in case). Other than that, as JandK said, the hardest part is getting the party started. At some point someone will probably need to say 'so, who takes off their clothes first?', 'lets do this', or something similar. Just be prepared to do that. That will and usually is the hardest part. After a long and painful search, you finally find a couple and are going to meet them. So, you'd think the hard part was over. Being 1st timers all around, getting things going could be tough unless there is a pretty aggressive person in the group to push everyone along. What works for us, hosting, is for the wife to excuse herself and go change into something that shows she is at least ready. She will sit with the guy, hopefully he has allowed himself some room and isn't crammed into a little chair. That seems to be about all it takes.
