There are of course objective measures of fitness. Most would define fitness as resilience to stress. This raises the question, "fit for what"? One might expect different levels of fitness of, for example, a Marine on active duty, a policeman on active duty, and an airline pilot on active duty, and so on. In the seventh decade of our lives, we define it as being able to get through our workouts at the gym, do the housework--which has recently involved lifting crates of books and climbing 18 foot ladders-- and pulling the airplane with the towbar. There are surely 20 year olds and 40 years olds more 'fit' than we are. Still, what matters to us is that we can do the things we need to do and want to do. As for aesthetic surgery, that is a separate matter.

This is so outside my experience. Most of the swinging I've done the males were usually bisexual & so were most of the women. That really reduces the tension & discomfort in most of my experience. I would reiterate that just watching white the other man takes a turn with her is not cuckholding. That involves at a minimum a clear restriction or denial of access, and usually verbal abuse at some level. Being present while your spouse has a great orgasm or two with someone else is not cuckholding.

When I was a young man, I went to rodeos hoping to meet barrel racers. They were (for the most part) "fit."

That's a really great question! I would assume that in the context of swinging fitness is about stamina. I'd expect it to imply being involved in at least one sport at a competitive level, but I also know some very disciplined people who can achieve a decent level of fitness by exercising on their own 3-4 times a week. I don't specifically seek out 'fit' people but when I meet them that's a bonus.

I am thin but feel I'm fit. When I think of fit I think that anyone who is not obese is fit. Most Americans are somewhat overweight. I think one way of thinking is to say someone is height and weight proportional. Also people lie. If you are a weightlifter you might be very fit but you might not be what a woman wants. Not everyone wants someone who is muscular. I am not big on top, some men want a big bust. Some men want a big butt, again I don't have one. BTW some men like a Big Woman. So even though I consider myself fit I will not be running a marathon any time soon nor will I be lifting anything more than the package Amazon is leaving at my door.

We really believe that the world would be a happier, better place if everyone had a Hitachi magic wand.
