Our rule of thumb has always been plus/minus 10 years of our age. However, the hottest night we had ever was about 4 years ago with a couple who were both 25 years younger than us. It IS a rule of thumb, just not carved in stone!

At a club or house party we are less likely to care about ages. We all already were comfortable with each other, and after testing and closing, even more so - no condoms or activity restrictions. We're all fine with alone and threesome play, and we watch each others children, so we (especially my wife) have much more sex now than just weekend play. Because of each of us has the opportunity for a variety of recreational sex, it's less likely that one will cheat. Less than a married "monogamous" couple.

Either is pretty much the same, but we prefer couples. One thing I did figure out a long time ago, though, is that an FMF requires an icredible amount of effort to keep both women in the action unless they are bi. So, for an fmf, bi women are the only way to go unless you want to chance leaving someone untended to or feel like wearing yourself out without getting to much enjoyment out of it.
