Hard to believe people are this dumb, or selfish. Yes, it sucks right now, but things like this just feed into the idea that swingers are weirdo deviants. I mean, it's like looking at porn at work. Just wait until you get home!

Seems strange to judge merely because these people gathered. Maybe there was a requirement that those who attended had proof they had already been infected (given reinfection is exceedingly rare). The news story is lacking in information, instead just puts out the headline because it'll outrage people. Yet it was no big deal for high level politicians in the same state, who have demanded people stay home, do whatever they want. In California the governor went to the French Laundry (look it up, it is an absurdly expensive restaurant). Why didn't the police break that up? Newsom constantly whines about infection rates and ICU capacity....but I guess everyone needs to eat ($500 per person dinners!)...well, except those restaurants that the governor forced to shut down. He doesn't eat at those. State senators flew to locked down Hawaii for a conference...no big deal. Nancy Pelosi gets her hair done in San Francisco...the hair salon is forced to shut down, Pelosi is the "victim" (?). The news outlets don't bother with the story. No political ramifications. San Francisco Mayor London Breed also goes to the French Laundry (maybe Newsom told her it was good during his visit). Breed has locked down San Francisco, put in curfews....but hey, it was a fancy dinner so she went. Yes, these people who gathered probably shouldn't have, but maybe this event was their 'French Laundry', or their 'necessary haircut', thus it isn't a big deal.

Bad publicity for swingers. Just like Nawty in Nawlins and an event in Astoria, Queens, NY. Thinking with little head, not big head.

Ride or die for some people. We are well documented quarantiners. For those who have to attend indoor, unmasked swing events, you are not just taking risks for yourself. You are endangering your friends, relatives and neighbors if you get an asymptomatic case and spread it to a vulnerable person or persons. Don’t be a superspreader. Get a vaccine as soon as you can.

If anyone is looking for an inexpensive vibrating sex saddle build, I can help. I spent about 50.00 and 6-8 hours of my time. My efforts have been rewarded with the pleasure of watching my wife have MANY explosive orgasms. I would be happy to share the process with anyone who is interested.

The problem is that the behavior affects more than just the attendees themselves. They may be acting on what they think is "best for them". But they have chosen to ignore the consequences to others not attending the event. Somewhere between 1/3-1/2 of all infections are asymptomatic, and yet they will spread the virus to others who may be especially vulnerable. You surely do not believe that those attending were going to quarantine at home for two weeks, do you, and then make testing their first stop? Yes, people should be free to do as they want--provided it does not place other at preventable risk. In this particular context, failure to adhere to distancing, mask wearing, hygiene is a subsequent threat--and a violation of law. They knew the gathering was illegal, they chose to gather anyway, they were arrested and charged.

I don't see these people as being dumb or selfish. They are acting on what they think is best for them. Others choose a different path.

LA county had the highest rate Of Covid infections in the country. We are still under stay at home orders with all bars indoor and outdoor dining closed and only 25% of capacity allowed in essential retail shops. The rule is gatherings for parties Greater than either six or 10 Are prohibited unless they’re all members of the same household. All open establishments require masks worn properly at all times. Some are doing temperature and symptoms checks to allow entry but still the understanding is to remain masked. I couldn’t find the name of the club but pretty sure I know which one it is. All other clubs in the area have been dark since March. They are always under a fair amount of scrutiny due to the nature of the business and have the usual hassles with capacity and fire code and those type excuses and not uncommon for lawn Forssman or fire marshal to break up a party even outside of a pandemic. if it is the club I think it is, they advertised and sent out emails and although they did temperature checks and symptom screenings at the door it just brought people out who are sick of the pandemic including law and code enforcement. especially when everything else has been clothes for almost a year it probably wasn’t a good idea for this club to open. And even less of a good idea to attend although I am sympathetic and understand their reasons.
