People really need to get the vaccine, not only for themselves, but for the greater societal good of herd immunity. Please note that this statement is apolitical and based on science. This country seems powerless to be selfless and to pull in the same direction to defeat the virus. Many people just want to continue their old life as if nothing happened. This is a war that requires all hands on deck. Masks, social distancing, vaccinating. While you contemplate your vaccine, think of your friends and relatives who are older and/or immunocompromised. If you don’t give them covid, it may mean life or death for them.

What conflicting reports are you seeing? That the vaccines are causing harm? That the vaccines are ineffective? What are the sources for those reports?

Lifestyle Lounge or Kasidie may be a good bet for your part of the country.

An old joke: "Are you from Alaska?" "No. Why do you ask?" "You look like a husky fucker."

Construction workers? They'll be days late, argue over who is supposed to do what, get things half-ass done, and leave a mess.

I would bet Florida too, but I think the scene in TX is also notable.

We haven't gotten the vaccine as we both had the virus in November. We figured that others need it worse than we do. Our cases were very mild, it felt like a mild head cold. That said, we don't trust such a hastily concocted vaccine. I could go on, but you get the point. Anybody else think that way?

Yes. Years ago we played with a couple who lived here in NJ and every winter the hubby went to Alaska to work as a crab fisherman. The benefit was that we kept his wife entertained while he was away. One year she announced she was going to Alaska with him. 5 years later they divorced and she came back, but she was changed. Big time. She seemed to age 20 years and was almost unrecognizable. We wondered what happened, and decided "Alaska happened".

That's sort of happened with Walter, Lora's ex-husband. When they were first dating I recruited Lora to have sex with hubby. She did, told Walter, Walter joined us and started playing with Clair and me in our family. They both seemed to be good with it, got engaged, got married, and we kept playing with them. When Walter got a great job offer in California, Lora said that she wasn't going and furthermore wanted a divorce because she was in love with David, my husband (I understood). Lora was attached to Clair and me as well, so she joined our family. Walter was upset, but continued to play with us, including Lora, both when he visited us all and a couple of times when I or Lora went to La Jolla. We have since, however, all moved on and we haven't seen him in a couple of years, although we still sometimes exchange messages. He has aged, but the more mature look suits him and he is still in great shape.

I would bet Florida. Even kookier than California, which I guess is number 2. But it’s probably Iowa. In our travels, we find Alberta has a nice collection of swingers and friendly people. (We have a house in FL, have done empirical research).

True of women that I have known in high school, college and early professional life. From what I have been told by these women and sometimes their husbands, there is more "envy" (for lack of a better word) around the travel and other nonsexual experiences that they had with past partners than the sex. Especially, the meaningless sex of those who danced or whatever.

Our only relevant guidance is to make sure that you have no plans that require you to be at peak mental or physical performance for 48 hours after the second injection (or first if you had COVID). Your body is *supposed* to react to the antigen challenge as the mRNA produces spike protein. Embrace the discomfort and know that it is protecting you for the future.

No one knows, but we would certainly choose acetaminophen (Tylenol TM) over ibuprofen or naproxen (Advil TM or Aleve TM) . The latter are specifically antiinflamatory. The former is more of an antipyretic and strikes us as less likely to interfere with the immune response you are trying to generate in the first place.

We aren’t! Even in the midst of the worst of this situation, my husband and I both agreed it wasn’t the lifestyle that caused this to happen, just a big eye opener and lesson that boundaries were needed In the future. It was a mistake for us to go into it so causally. I think since we have done this for so long and we haven’t had any issues so far, we were just overly confident and didn’t realize that could happen to us. We all played a part in why things went bad and we all learned a lesson I think....

Our first time was a bit impromptu if you will... we were on vacation at the beach. We had decided to do a week long trip in July just the two of us to get away from things. My husband and I had been open about our past before but we had never considered anything like an open marriage/swinging etc. On night 3 we decided to go to a local favorite bar of ours. This place was kind of a staple in the area we were staying and we had been on several occasions on past vacations. Loud music, cheap drinks and a beach atmosphere so pretty much a perfect spot on the ocean. We have never been the jealous type so he had danced with a few women and me a few men nothing more than fun. I had mentioned a few times about my attraction to older men mostly celebrities and people I would never really meet much less have the opportunity to sleep with in real life. He had done the same about girls he found attractive. As the night went on and we continued to drink the lines got a little blurred. I will say I dont recommend trying this especially on the first try with alcohol or any other enhancers but here we are... In walked a nice looking older man probably 30 years my senior (mid 50's) and sat down next to us at the bar. A few rounds of drinks and conversation he asked me to dance. I had gave my husband the "look" and he nodded his approval. We danced to a few songs and i returned to the bar where my husband was laughing... What!? i said and he glanced at me... You think he's hot dont you? UHM... i remember vividly that's all i could say. Like a blur we were in our car my husband driving and him and I making out in the backseat. After a quick stop for some condoms we were in our room. The sex was amazing and it was a fantasy come true in all honesty because I had never been with a substantially older person before let alone a complete stranger. When i woke up the next morning i remember my husband asking me if i wanted to meet him again. In my current state of confusion and addmittingly hungover i remember saying i dont even know his name... My husband said well we have been texting all morning. They are still friends on social media and text on occasion as do him and I. We have never met up since then but its def on our list of things to do at some point. The rest is history from that point on we were swingers.

We all, including my wife and I, are into the lifestyle for the fun. Why ruin it with this drama? This guy is not making your collective situation better, so move on.

Just block him . . . If you run into him at a club, ignore him.

As described above, there are lot's of ways to explore this lifestyle. But, his question is about their first experience. My advice is to keep it simple. If you bring in a single male for a threesome - there is less pressure on you to perform. Ideally, you and your wife have a good experience to build upon. If not MFM, maybe a soft swap with an experienced couple who is patient and willing to go at your pace. Get a couple good experiences under your belt and go from there. One thing, rarely talked about is that the first swinging experience can be pretty overwhelming. There is so much sexy input - your brain can go 'tilt' and your erection may go on vacation. Get yourself acclimated to being naked with others and seeing your spouse have sex with someone else, without the need to perform. Once you are comfortable - sky is the limit.

This mirrors our position as well. We're seeing too many conflicting reports at the moment. They're probably isolated incidents but no reason to rush this. Will give it another six months or so to see if new developments (if any) come out. We're not going anywhere before then anyway it would seem...
