2 pointsI'll start. We are a Lifestyle couple. We mostly enjoy foursomes and moresomes. However, my wife is also a 'hotwife', and we are happy to have a respectful single male join us for an MFM threesome; my wife will also 'solo' with a single male from time to time.

2 pointsOver the years that has been our most constant, and the most fun less drama.....way to play....

2 pointsWhen it comes to threesomes, we think MFM is much more common than FMF due to the fact that there are a lot more single males in the lifestyle than single females. The interpersonal chemistry of MFM is simpler than MFMF and your wife can enjoy being the center of attention. WIn/win/win!

2 pointsLike @eastandwest mentioned, things bounced back after the Spanish flu 100 years ago so I think things will bounce back again. There is still some debate over the level of protection that vaccines provide given the new strains, plus the vacine rollout seems to be a little slower than hoped for, so i think the comeback will be slow and cautious. As for us our circle is as small as any swinger circle can possibly be: exactly 3 people. We look forward to gradually adding more but for now we're very happy to have the 3 of us.

2 pointsIt appears it hasn’t really gone away by the crazy large amount of people we have had hitting us up online over the last year! I swear we have had more action on our profiles since this shit began then we did before it hit and some people don’t take it very well when we tell them until we can see our families again we are not going to be seeing other people. Don’t really care if we burned some bridges alone the way, because unsafe people don’t interest us anyways and we are more then satisfied with the action we have at home with each other. If anything our sex life has just gotten better throughout this ordeal.

2 pointsI received my first covid vaccine today. It was by Moderna. This evening, my arm is slightly sore, but it is mild and if I don’t think about it, I wouldn’t notice it. I heard the second dose can have more side effects. We just heard tonight that the husband of one of our favorite lifestyle couples just got out of the hospital after three weeks. He is still using oxygen at home. He is a slim, fit, trim health conscious guy. His father also has covid and is in the hospital on a ventilator. I will accept all the teasing and criticism about being cautious. But I really don’t want to get it. I am going to an orthopedist tomorrow, hopeful they take appropriate precautions.

1 pointI think there's a big distinction here between people who frequent clubs or visit sites looking for other couples, versus couples who are just exploring informally, where single males are most of what's practical. Kinks overlap but there's certainly some common themes that break people out into loose categories of behavior. We've swapped with two other couples multiple times. We play FMF with a woman we see regularly. We've both played solo once. Probably 80% of our outside partners, though, have been single men we picked up for a one-off encounter when the inclination struck.

1 pointWe had no side effects from the first other than a little soreness at the injection site. Second shot, again some soreness, Alan less than me. We both felt blah, tired and some stiffness. I stayed in, Alan went for a walk. Two days out we are pretty much back to normal.

1 pointA few mainstream publications have made the same point I did earlier in a thread about this - the Jazz Age and "petting parties" came right after the Spanish Flu. I expect casual sex generally is going to being in high demand, including group sex, although it may or may not be called "swinging", just as relatively few vanilla people who indulge in threesomes embrace the term. Expect to see new and creative outlets and a lot more blind eyes turned.

1 pointIn a way yes, but. My take on a long story short: I think they were more in love with what the other represented than the person him/herself. Both recent college graduates, attractive with good jobs and aspirations that were panning out. They were in love with the idea of what they could be together. I thought it strange how Lora had no hesitation starting a sexual relationship with my husband David (with my encouragement) while in the beginnings of dating Walter. She had already told Walter what she was up to sleeping with David and he doesn't object, they keep dating. We invite them over for a casual dinner, we all have fun getting along, then Lora comes on to hubby and they head to the bedroom. Walter and I talk while Lora and David are at it for about an hour. They come back and we go on with the evening for another two hours. Lora tells me the next day that she had talked it through with Walter beforehand. Over the course of less than a year, Walter, Lora, and David move into threesomes, then me joining for couples swaps. During the same time Lora and Walter as a couple move onto engagement and marriage. Walter and Lora were in love with their "power couple" life; Lora and David were in love with each other; Walter and I were just enjoying the sex play. Lora and Walter thought they had it all, Lora could be with my husband pretty much whenever she liked, Walter had a tidy marriage with kinky situations that he liked. The problem came when Walter wanted them to move to the west coast for a job opportunity, Lora didn't want to go while Walter thought they could just find some other play partners in California. Lora didn't want to leave David; she told me that she wanted David's baby and was in love with me too. (Neither of which surprised me, and I deeply loved her too.) They had some talks and realized that they had dreams and aspirations in common, they just didn't necessarily have to be with each other. He's doing great in California and Lora's part of our family with David, Red, Clair and me.

1 pointYou wonder what the hell happened to them? It happened to us twice. We ran into couples one year and two years after playing with them, respectively. The wives looked ten years older than previous. What happened? Illness? Pressure? Sorry to be catty, maybe we are aging also. My wife agreed that these women went from hot to not in a hurry. No we weren’t drunk the first time. Ever happen to anyone else?

1 pointSad when people go downhill. Sorta wish we started swinging younger. We just heard of the passing of a 30ish friend of a friend in the lifestyle. You’re only dancing on this earth a short time. -Cat Stevens

1 pointHappened with us; friends we knew who were pretty dang hot -- and then three years later, not-so-much. She had cancer, and treatment did a number on her looks; he went grey / white with more facial-wrinkles than expected, most likely from stress over her diagnosis and the loss of both parents and a sister in a car accident. Frankly, we're surprised they're both holding up as well as they are. Edited to add: When we say "No Drama" in potential play-couples, *this* is acceptable life-drama; it's the selfish/jealous stuff we don't want to deal with.

1 pointWe haven't gotten the vaccine as we both had the virus in November. We figured that others need it worse than we do. Our cases were very mild, it felt like a mild head cold. That said, we don't trust such a hastily concocted vaccine. I could go on, but you get the point. Anybody else think that way?
