I don't like the ambiguity of "clothing-optional." I look forward to going to nude spas when in Europe and I have the time. Everyone has a common understanding that it is non-sexual and nakedness is mandatory. It is wonderful being with others of all ages, sizes, and conditions who are naked. I would definitely go to a vanilla social gathering where I am naked, so long as I know everyone else will be. (It is an interesting thought, however, being invited to a get together where only some of us are randomly chosen to be nude.) Same if sex is possible; let me know in advance.

Agree on all points. We would add that nudists nearly always separate their state of undress from sexual thinking or actions. You are right to never “assume” and always clarify.

It sounds like a great idea but may be hard to set up. Trying to get a lot of new people who are interested and them all being able to attend at the same time seems like it could prove difficult. Plus you'd have to count on a lot of no shows due to nerves, how many times have you read about people backing out or wanting to after pulling into the parking lot of a club. If those hurdles could somehow be taken care of then we think it would be perfect. Wish there would have been something like that when we started, We would probably still go to one now.
