I've read and heard that some of the sites, i.e. sls, sdc, kasidie, etc. are better for some regions. Is this true? If true, what is the best site for San Francisco Bay Area? Thanks! -
Some people here have probably seen my previous posts about our experiences with Mrs. E's long-time friend and her significant other ("husband" for simplicity). The conversation had started gently a year or two after she let it slip during a girl talk phone conversation that I had a related fantasy, and when we were visiting them in Vegas in the fall, Mrs. E's friend made it known that her and her husband sometimes played with another couple and that we were invited to hang out at their pool if we were inclined. This was what she needed to get started, since she was comfortable with her friend and friend's husband, and while we kept the night "soft", she tried and learned a lot. The following night we connected with that couple alone and did our first full swap. In the spring, we met up with her friend and husband again and spent a long weekend at a vanilla resort, which also went unexpectedly great. They gave us the space we needed to enjoy the city and still have plenty of playtime with them. No tension at all. So now fall is rolling around again and they're suggesting we all meet up in Palm Springs. Us, them, and the third couple. I've been to Palm Springs, Mrs. E hasn't. I know it's smallish and it's implied there will be a lot more free time hanging around the resort than on our last trip to a busier area, but overall, I like the idea and think with two couples there, it might actually be just as easy for any of us to get some alone time when we need it. She likes it, too. However, she only had some soft play with both the husband and the wife from the third couple. We both like the wife, they got some girl-talk bonding in after playing before she played with the husband and they've stayed in touch, and we have no strong opinions about the husband. He was in her mouth while I was behind her for Mrs. E's first "spit roast", and that's about the extent of our connection with him. Point is, she's maybe overthinking full swap with them. Part of this might be because she only met them the once and hasn't seen them face-to-face in a full year. Part of this might be because the wife likes girl-on-girl play and Mrs. E is tweaking herself out about seeing her again. I've reminded her that ultimately, there's no rule that says we have to do full swap with them or that she has to indulge with the wife, but I get the same answer I often get about going to a club. "We can't go there and just NOT, that would be weird." Anybody have any advice to put her at ease? Should we have a conversation with somebody, here? She isn't typically a very direct person and I don't think she wants to talk to the third wife about how she feels about it. I've put off the decision as long as possible, she doesn't want to say 'no' and really wants to go to Palm Springs, but it's time to buy tickets.- 12 replies

We're coming up on that time where we're going to start shopping around for a new place to live full-time out west. As some readers know from my prior posts, we're not a "lifestyle couple" but are considering the possibility, and things like topless sunbathing or visiting a club are certainly our speed. We're looking for somewhere clean and reasonably cosmopolitan with "big city" amenities and vanilla nightlife/entertainment, but also reasonably laid-back attitudes about sex: the kind of place where people mostly mind their own business, etc. We picture our off-time mostly consisting of going out for nice diners and cocktails, outdoors, road trips, and screwing our brains out. Our preference is to avoid deep freezes and gray skies. We have our own ideas, but since many on this forum live in the western U.S. and are more familiar with the cities to begin with, I thought I'd ask the question in the form of a poll.

I know this place is not a swingers club, per se. However, I wonder if anyone has been there. It is a clothing optional resort. Seems like a nice place to hang out, literally, and get some sun, and for us its fairly close to home. The thought of hanging naked with the ms and 40 other guests sounds enticing. Sea Mountain Inn Have you guys been to Sea Mountain Inn? It is in Desert Hot springs California. I think if you guys live in the area or within a few hours you should check it out. They people are great! I met some great couples and we had a blast. No one is pushy or aggressive at all. I had had some experience with the lifestyle on my own but had never been to events or a place like this. I love it! I loved hanging by the pool and getting drinks from the staff. Did I mention its an all female staff??? For both male and female guest this is quite a nice sight. They are super friendly and are attentive, its rare you would need to bug them for anything. As soon as you're looking for something its like they're right there already holding a beverage or ready to give you more towels. They had lunch and snacks all day. They didn't have dinner which was a bummer but they did have a place that delivered to the resort which was nice. I would love to see more people come out to this place to hang out with. I know its chilly now but they have a heated pool, a hot tub, a dry heat sauna, and of course the heat we can make with each other!!! I love this place and would love to see more ladies come up here. I LOOOVE the ladies! =) In case you're wondering they were very clean here. They have maintenance and housekeeping ladies, yes ladies, who make sure everything is clean and the bathrooms are stocked. The grounds were clean and swept. It's a great place and I totally recommend coming here! Let's go! -
Long time lurker, first time poster here... Our story starts out a lot like many others here. The wife and I have talked and fantasized about dipping our toes in the scene since I approached the subject about 2 years ago. When I initially brought up swinging, I was met with the typical eye rolling from the wife, along with "yeah, I'm sure YOU'D love THAT" playful denial. However the more we talked and researched together, the more we both realized that if others can do it, why can't we? Recently, we've been talking about it more frequently, and the wifey started asking more questions and expressed more of an interest, but only 'to make me happy'. I told her there was no way I was pressuring her into this, it had to be HER decision to move forward, because after all the reading I've done if I learned nothing else, it's that the women control the pace, and I did NOT want to screw this up before we even started! Anyway, jump forward to last week... after a very busy holiday season, we'd been trying to plan some together time. Vegas is only a 2.5 hr drive away, so it is usually our go-to place for impromptu weekend getaways. So, last week we started looking into the clubs around Vegas and decided that we'd give the Red Rooster a try. We headed over to Vegas on Thursday night, and spent Friday at the outlets and shopping looking for something sexy to wear that evening. The wifey is a little self conscience, but I absolutely love her sexy curves and we found some outfits that she looked fantastic in and still made her feel comfortable and not too 'exposed'. We pulled up and parked in front of the place and almost chickened out...it was the wife that said, "I just psyched myself up on the trip over - I'm not backing out now!" So we walked in, paid our $30 and checked our beer into the bar. We got a quick rundown of the joint from a regular and strolled around part of the downstairs area. We parked on a couch and just kind of people watched while sipping a beer. After about 30 minutes or so there was another couple from out of town getting the rundown from one of the volunteers/staff. We introduced ourselves and asked if we could be included on the 'tour'. Knowing that the other couple was new to this also really helped us relax and we got a great tour from one of the Staff members - he showed us all of the areas downstairs and let us know about the upstairs 'couples only' space. We had decided before coming that whatever happens, happens, but we had no aspirations of playing with anyone. This was purely a fact-finding mission - we would just go and check things out, and maybe have a little fun with each other. So after the tour, we grabbed another beer and were sitting for just a moment when a single male (who we assumed and later confirmed was a regular) came and sat to chat us up. He was friendly, and it was obvious to him we were newbies, but he was very nice and polite - flirted a little but no pressure. We told him early in the conversation that it was our first time and we were just checking out the scene with no intentions of playing. He was very nice and continued our conversation for another 10 minutes or so before excusing himself. After that, we headed upstairs to the couples only area. We found ourselves a spot on a sofa with about 6 other couples. We talked about our experiences that night, made out, I started playing with her boobs, and soon her girls were out in all their glory. We screwed 3 times in the 12 hours following our return from the club...I can't remember even doing that as newlyweds! Our 'local' club is Freedom Acres, which is only about 35 minutes away. We have already started planning an evening there - maybe next time we'll find some playmates!! We can't wait!! We are a couple from Brazil. We've been in the Lifestyle for some time, but it's difficult to find educated and sophisticated couples to play with in our country. We wish to go to a Lifestyles resort next January, but I couldn't find accurate information about them on the net. We don't care if it's in the Caribbean, the US, or even in Europe, as long as it is the best there is, in terms of accommodation, food, and, of course, the guests. Can anybody help me with information? Thanks. -
We are planning a trip for Sept. But we are trying to decide which one to go to. We've heard some good thing about all three. We went to Temptations in Cabo last year, but the one we are thinking about going to this time is in Cancun. Any info or advise would be greatly appreciated. We are not worried about going to Mexico. We were just down there in April and had no problem. Thanks ahead of time -
