Man its been a while since I've checked in here. After discovering this lifestyle over the winter in Florida we have headed back up to DC for work and to get ready to move to Florida somewhat permanently. We are going to be in the beaufort, NC/Moorehead city area for a month or so in July. Does anyone have any recommendations for M&Gs or clubs in the area? Following that we are probably going to be in Charleston, SC for a month or two and then on to our final destination of titusville, FL. Any recommendations in any of these areas? Thanks Mr. Nomad

The girlfriend and I are looking at spending a week at Paradise Lakes in February. We know this isn't a swingers resort, but it happens there. We love our local Nudest resort, we wear black rings..seems to get the conversation headed in the right direction Questions: Is Paradise Lakes worth spending a week at or is there another resort that might be better (We are on a budget flying on Southwest points can't afford Hedo II or Desires) Is it reasonable to Uber from Tampa Airport Hotel to Paradise lakes, or would it be better to get a car? Any other recommendations?

This Sunday evening just past we were introduced to the Lake Como Family Nudist Resort. The difference from Paradise Lakes Clothing Optional Resort are subtle but we are learning to appreciate them. I will say more on this difference in future posts. All visitors are required to check in at the front office (no "gate" exists). You tell the office manager your reason for wanting to be inside of the resort. Acceptable reason seem to be going to the restaurant (our reason), visiting a resident, or just to look around. We were given a paper form that a waiter would need to complete as we were leaving. The waiter wrote the time that we went out the door and we presented this paper to the office manager (along with our restaurant credit -card receipt) as we drive out. I assume that if too much time had elapsed between leaving the restaurant and going out of the resort, uncomfortable questions would have been asked. To assure that we would return with the proper documents, the office employee kept our drivers licenses while we were inside. The Lake Como restaurant has a menu a bit more varied than the menu of the Waters Edge Bar at Paradise. The quality of the food is about equal. Neither Lake Como or Paradise Lakes have food equal to Caliente. My overall impression is that "condos" at Lake Como are not so much like condos as like double-wide trailers those trailers being separated on average just far enough apart that you could easily maintain your patch of grass with a weed whacker. Every person at the restaurant with whom we spoke expressed complete happiness with the resort, the activities available, and their living arrangements.

Like many of you, we've grown completely fed up with quarantining and decided it was time to step out of our voluntary social isolation. We've been breaking quarantine by visiting naturist (nude) beaches. We reason they provide the ideal opportunities to break quarantine without any meaningful possibility of exposing ourselves (or anyone else) to COVID-19, yet still provide a sensual, relaxing, and welcoming environment to socialize with like-minded couples and individuals. With a part-time residence in SW Florida, we are fortunate to have access to a handful of legal naturist beaches available to us within comparatively short drive times. Currently, our favorite location is Blind Creek Beach on Hutchinson Island, a barrier island located immediately south of Ft Pierce, Florida, on the east coast. Although Blind Creek Beach was an "unofficial" nude beach for many years, just recently it was "officially" sanctioned as a clothing-optional recreational area by local authorities. Unlike so many of Florida's other beaches, Blind Creek Beach is very under-utilized during most days, especially during the week. Note this is not a commercialized area. There are no showers, lifeguards, or concessions. There are a couple of portable toilets at the entrance to pathway to the beach. If you happen to live nearby or plan on visiting the area, please let us know. We're interested in making new friends with nice couples and singles. Unfortunately, we are not ready to immediately resume playing at this time, but we'll be "first in line" for the upcoming COVID-19 vaccine and plan on returning to our normal activities as soon as practicable. Stay healthy and safe, Andrew and Ann

Hello all, my wife and I are looking into going to Caliente Tampa in late June and was hoping someone here could shed some light on the accommodations. I’ve been able to find info on the social scene, which looks to be fun (but please feel free to let us know more), but I can’t find a whole lot on the rooms/condos. Not expecting a 5 Star resort, but would like some sort of insight. Should we stay at hotel or Casita (not sure what this even is) or condo? Also any info on experience if you took the Club Preview Tour promotion would also be greatly appreciated. We’re looking forward to a great time (we’ve only experienced a day/night pass at Hedo...good times!), but don’t want it to be ruined by substandard accommodations. Thanks for any input you can provide! J and L

My wife and I are planning a week-end in Miami and Key West. Does anyone know restaurants and bars, in both places, where the atmosphere is hot and my wife can be flirted? And if there are nice swingers clubs in each towns? Thanks a lot

Looks promising as a less expensive trip than Desire or Hedo. Anyone ever been?

We will be in Key West early next month. Are there any night spots other than the Garden of Eden where nudity and/or body paint is acceptable and welcomed? Julie

While at the Paradise Lakes Resort yesterday evening, people were telling us about a place called Tree House, reportedly a house built up in a big tree whose owner wanted to use it specifically for lifestyle parties. I've conducting internet searches this afternoon and found plenty of places having names Tree House or Treehouse but none of them appear to be anything like lifestyle venues. Have any of you heard about this Tree House? What can you tell me?

Recent word is that seems like some of the property owners don't care for Caliente reaching out to the swinging community instead of remaining strictly a nudist resort.

Heading to Key West, and it is surprisingly difficult to find a place that swingers gather and hang out. I would have thought there would be at least a few lifestyle-friendly places. Any recommendations (besides Garden of Eden... been there, done that)

O.K., I'm not sure if this is the place to put this, but I knew it would be seen, and that Julie could move it if necessary. Back in January, over MLK B'Day weekend, we visited my folks in Miami and decided to go to a club, Trapeze. We had been out of Swinging for quite some time (never really in it that long), but wanted a little excitement and figured we would go "see and be seen". We weren't planning to play with others, but, if the opportunity presented itself properly, sure, maybe, why not? We got to the club and it was pretty well layed out. Nice bar, nice dance floor (kinda sucky music, but we're dance instructors, we're hard to please) and a really nice buffet. The requisite porn was showing on two TVs and the skinny twenty-something girls were on the floor vogue-ing for one another. Most of the crowd was the "not Ken and Barbie" set and were MUCH older than us (we're late 30's to early 40's, most were 50's and up). Now, I am not ranking on the "not Ken and Barbie" folks (we're kinda in that range) or the near-baby boomers. It's simply that we were going to see and be seen and wanted to be surrounded by the young 20-30 something Miami hard bodies that Trapeze is supposedly famous for attracting (all the pics on their site are of said people). Most of the even borderline attractive (to us, I know, please don't hate) women, were partnered with big, bald, bearded, biker looking dudes, which are simply not our taste. Well, we weren't exactly feeling the love, but we thought we'd give the play room a try, if only to see it and play together. As we cautiously walked back there, a very very large (overweight, not foot ball player large), naked man in his mid-fifties, was being ejected from the play room, screaming and yelling, as another man and his partner came out. The second man was bleeding from his face where the first man had punched him and his partner (wife?) was visibly shaken, as were all those around them. This really put a damper on things for us, as well as the others who came out of the room, so my wife and I decided to go enjoy the buffet and then leave. It didn't turn out as planned, but it made for a good story.
