DH and I have been in the lifestyle for quite a while and always wanted to play in a hot tub but was always worried we would catch something since hot tubs are full of weird things. My question is there a way to play safe in the tub?

Just finished watching a YouTube video about the O and P shot, I had never heard of this. This is for middle aged men and women where a doctor uses a vial of your own blood,spins it and takes the platelets to inject back into the clitoris or the penis to improve blood flow. The doctor who did the video said she gets this treatment about every 9 months. She recommends this for people having problems with ED problems or orgasm difficulties. So, have you heard of this or have you had this treatment?

We are laying low, not due to covid but other reasons. But in talking to friends, we just don’t hear as much about house parties, etc. Has covid subdued interest? Or are we jaded and/or over the hill?

The only swing club I've ever been to was back when I was married, and we went to the green door in Las Vegas. FF a few years and a divorce, and I'm having a conversation with my now GF about swing clubs, and she's freaked out at the idea of going in the hot tub at a swingers club. I didn't think twice about it then, but now that she brings it up, how sanitary is that? I remember a health club I went to and the manager told me to avoid the hot tub late nights bc stuff goes on in there you don't want to know about! I'm guessing the same thing is true and more so at a club?

Okay so the question I have here is why do fit healthy people that only want to play with others that take their health seriously always get labeled as snobs by so many people in the lifestyle? Are they really bad people, because they want to spend time with others that also have the drive and ambition to eat right and exercise? It is not like they are the way they are, because they are born that way! Everyone can be fit and healthy if they want to be. It takes a strong willed person to do what it takes to keep themselves healthy. I don’t see that as a bad quality in a person at all, but it seems many people think it makes them snobs. We have recently made some big health changes in our lives for ourselves and each other so we can live a long healthy life together and are seeing first hand how much it can improve all aspects of life. Our bodies are changing for the better big time, our energy levels are through the roof and many of our daily chronic pains have all, but disappeared. Neither one of us has ever felt better and there is no turning back. This has made our already great sex life of the charts amazing. Saying that our tastes in others is changing as well. People that care about their health and show it in their appearance are much more appealing to us now and people that clearly don’t just are not our thing. So I guess we must be on our way to snobville and we are okay with that, because honestly our health is way more important then making everyone else happy.

We attended a very nice house party last Friday. I had lengthy kissing sessions with two women. By Monday night, I had a pretty serious sore throat and cold. After a Bliss cruise encounter a couple of years ago, I developed really bad chest and throat problems that had me wind up at a ENT specialist. I don’t think of myself as particularly susceptible to illness. Has anyone else experienced this? Couples have cancelled on us for having a cold, which seems considerate.

The original "Injured During Sex" thread is "archived", so I am going to start a new edition. My dear, long suffering wife likes to stay up late after the other house-party guests have retired for their well-deserved night's rests. Upon one occasion, about a year ago, she and one of the men in her "stable" were up and still goin'-at-it at 3 am when he stumbled over something in the dark and his ass punched a hole in the Sheetrock of the front bedroom. He felt regret for causing the damage so Mister D and I spend the next day patching the ass-shaped hole in the wall. Well, early (very early) this morning, the same two culprits decided to get into the stand-up shower stall and have stand-up sex while getting clean. Neither I nor any of the other stay-over house guests remember hearing anything, by my wife slipped on a bar of soap. She got up this morning and, with a smile on her face, sat at breakfast, socialized and eventually kissed and waved all of the guests goodbye. The very second the last person disappeared down the road, her face contorted in pain and she told me about how her knee was bruised and swollen. This repair will not be as easy as patching a wall. I am now watching her in her Oxycodone, Tylenol, ice-pack-swelling-reduction, alcohol-induced twilight state and I believe tomorrow I am going to be skipping work and taking her to the urgent-care clinic. She objects and says, "I'll be OK." But I know better. So what "Injured Suring Sex" stories to you have?

We had the full scale work up this week - and while the entire process was painless (compared to the peace of mind in knowing that you are doing the right/safe things) it was a bit scary. The doctor who did all the tests was quite attractive and surprisingly (almost uncomfortably) flirty, especially when examining the little monkey... Anyhoo, if you have never had it done, you should. And to get you mentally prepared, here is the run down... We decided to go to the sexual health clinic rather than have to explain to our doctor why we wanted a full STD screen. In hindsight, I am glad we did. They deal with sexual health all the time, so they were very knowledgable and familiar with us swinger types. They said they knew we were because we came in as a couple and neither was pissed at the other Anyway - we expected a nasty little clinic, but it is actually quite nice - which was quite nice... My only complaint is, they have a sign sitting on the check in desk saying "men - do not urinate two hours before exam." Well - I drink over a gallon of water a day, so going two hours without peeing isn't going to happen. Besides - they DIDN'T have the sign on the bathroom door - which was just before the clinic entrance - so I ended up having to wait a little longer. So - HEAD'S UP, GUYS! Hold your water... We walk up and the lady shows us the options and asks, "do you want a number 1 or a number 2?" "Are we ordering Chinese food?" I ask... She snickers and from that point on, we're buddies... We take the number 1 because it is the full meal deal - and then we wait... And wait... And wait... When we finally go in, I am already expecting sloppy, free clinic phlebotomy - and when a tough looking, deep accented Russian nurse walks in, my willy shrivels to nothing. I feel a taste of Gulag coming. As it turns out, she WAS very no-nonsense and straight forward, but the pain was nothing. I HATE needles and swoon when I see one, but for some reason I was actually able to watch her do her thing and I never flinched or felt a thing. I think she was extra gentle though because I was flirting heavily (I do that when I'm nervous). "That's quite an accent," I said with a smile. "Are you from Texas?" She laughed and went into a speil during which I picked up the words "Russia", "Chicago" and, I think, "Pan Pizza". Other than that, I have no idea what we talked about... Then she leaves to run my blood to the lab... And I wait... And wait... And read sexual health pamphlets. Did you know that what we really need to do is just never, ever have sex? That is pretty much the gist of everything put out by the board of sexual awareness. We need to learn to be content with massage. Then doc comes in. She looks striking like the first woman I ever had sex with in the lifestyle - and is quite flirty. Yum! And she was extremely nice. She asked a few questions: "Sexual preference: Male, female or both?" "FEMALE - I swear it!" "Ever sell your body for money?" "Why? You have a little disposable cash?" Sheepish grin... "No - but I do have kids - so I'm strongly considering it." She laughs. "Any symptoms?" "No." "So, what brings you in?" "High risk lifestyle." "Say no more... Drop your pants." She swabs my throat - looks at my skin, which leads to a ten minute discussion of my tattoo, she's fascinated by it - then she fondles me (HER words, not mine!!!) - and uses two swabs on my johnson... This part was worse than the blood draw... "Yes, that's fine. Looks nice. Hmmmm. Now you know why my husband doesn't want to hear about what I do all day." It's just fun to have a nice doctor Anyway, the doc comes in after more waiting and says: "It's all negative - there are still some cultures to run (which we now know are negative as well!) - but if there were anything, we'd see an infection of some sort." She smiles. "Just keep doing whatever you are doing to stay safe, because it is working." I walk out with a surprising spring in my step... And what sucks is the entire next day at work I wanted to share my joy. "I'm STD free!!!" But, you just can't... So - I share here... And encourage everyone - if you haven't, or don't regularly - go grasp that peace of mind, for you and your playmates

I just found this interesting little tidbit in Fitness magazine... I know the Spoos will find it interesting anyway (and maybe they can even confirm it). According to Run For Life by Sam Murphy, 40% of women who ran for exercise reported greater sexual arousal. 31% had sex more often and 25% found orgasm easier to achieve. Sounds like a good reason to take up running, if you ask me.
